They gave this guy 47 years to life, but just recently a gang of 5 who were killing innocent bystanders for sport were sentenced 25-35 years each. The justice system is weird af.

Justice system has never been used to deter criminals from repeating crimes, nor has it ever made sense. Sentencing (made public) is a standard to show the public they are punishing criminals. However, the public forget all about the crimes they see on youtube or news and the reality is these criminals, the worst people in the world (murderers, abusers, rapists, molesters) are out of prison likely within half the time or less than the sentence they received. Victims suffer for the rest of their lives from violent crimes and/or crimes that change their lives. The criminals, as sickening and unjust as it seems, will be allowed to commit many more crimes regardless if they get caught for them or not. Look how long some criminals arrest records are, how many victims they create. Its a failed system thats gone on soo long that generations of criminals know there are little to no consequences to committing crimes. Why? because your city and state get income from crimes and will never deter crime with any real effort, nor could they stop it now anyways, its too late. Same as drugs, smoking and alcohol. Too much money it it for government to ever make real efforts. Disgusting.

If they're paying rent and it's temporary, why would they ever care how they act in the neighborhood? Do you know how social norms are caused, I'm sure you don't that's why you commented that. When someone or family owns a property and has an established building, they're thinking long term. Unfortunately, gangs don't have resources like the police to live a stable life, so now the court has given him a settled life in an environment based on his course of action and thinking.

@AMG_DocS4 ай бұрын
@JesusISKingNoMatterWhat Almost all thugs go to college or get a job, none of them work for the government, so they don't have to follow rules as strictly since no one is supervising them that closely. College is the dumbest place to be. You can enroll with any background and color the DEI practices that are implemented. Every student in school is different, did you know that. There are special education teachers, speech therapists, and first responders coming weekly to do presentations about safety. That's exactly how jail/prison is, too. They're a failure in both places. You know why he ended up here is because he wanted to get income/experiences off of the street which is suicidal thinking because when you're out in public you need money to buy things, take the bus, wear clothes (remember public indecency is a charge) imo he probably was trying to establish a little bit of his life to do better but the way he did it was wrong so this was the result. At least in jail, you get all basic necessities, but some inmates who know better do climb the ranks there by becoming a trusty or going to dive school, which is offered in Northern California state prisons.
