Sanding a Red Oak Floor and Staining it "Jacobean"

In this video, we refresh a worn red oak hardwood floor by sanding it down to raw wood. Our proven refinishing process removed scratches, drywall dust, minor water damage, plenty of wear and tear, and top coat deterioration. After thoroughly sanding with our big sanding machine, we flattened the surface, removed imperfections, and stained it "Jacobean", same stain as the original colour, just as the client wanted with this refresh. We then applied two coats of oil-based finish, as requested by the client, achieving a beautiful satin sheen. The result is a stunning transformation!
