Try your best to knock off the glitter that it's not sticking to the tumbler. Some people use a spray glue on the glitter before the last epoxy coating.

Ok, I sand out the pokey bits, but my problem is after "I'm done" the cup feels wavy. What am I doing wrong?

I keep thinking I’m messing up, but I keep forgetting a flood coat is a thing after first coat! Lol. If you end up needing a 2nd coat of glitter for some reason, would you just sand AFTER the flood coat?

Have you ever had a problem with the decal lifting during epoxy drying? If so what do you do to fix if it's completely dried and lifted and do you know what causes it?

I have a question so where I add the glitter to the cup I’m going to put epoxy and then that’s the one I’m going to sand? or do I add another layer of epoxy on top and then Sanded?

Totally depends on your epoxy choice. They all have different curing times. Mine is usually 6 hours or so.

what if you hit glitter ? I noticed i have dimples where a glitter in the shape of a star is. I sanded around the dimple can i just do another layer if expoxy or do i need to spray it with clear coat first? This will be my third coat if resin

I don't seel my glitter, but it wouldn't be a bad idea to if it's a larger glitter piece that looks like it might be repelling the epoxy. Another coat of epoxy should even things out after sanding.

Was your epoxy fully cured? Trying to figure out if I can epoxy it cured epoxy. Didn’t dry right bc of how could it was outside when I did it 😅 thanks!

Do you leave the tape on the whole time it’s drying? What kind of tape do you use? I usually let mine dry for 30 mins then take it off but sometimes the epoxy gets on the silver part.

I take it off but when would depend on the epoxy that is being used. Quick set, i take it off right away. KS Resin i leave for about 40 minutes

Question,, I see that you sanded the tumbler but didn't apply another coat if epoxy before applying the decal, would that work with waterslide decals as well or would you recommend applying an epoxy code after sanding the tumbler before applying the waterslide decal? I hope my question makes sense.

I'll sand anywhere the waterslide will not be. If you sand where the waterside is going, it won't shine back up.

i just sanded my tumbler cup with epoxy now it is just feels like it is ruined by all the scratches that is on it. how can i fix it by removing the scratches

I haven't had too bad a problem with fish eyes, but yes. I never sand the first coat. I don't want to risk messing up my glitter and my 1st layer is on the thin side
