What an absolute gem. This is a moment of terrible fear & anxiety over the question, Where is Augusta? And then Samuel steps in and gently, ever so gently, probes Leo as to the whereabouts of Augusta. In his day job as a lawyer, I imagine that Samuel can be pretty harsh and direct (and rightfully so) in order to win cases for his clients. Here, he is just the perfect, devoted uncle. Samuel: Leo, is there anything you wish to tell us? Leonora? Please, Leo. You won’t be punished. Come now, you won’t keep a secret from me? … Well done, Leo. AND WELL DONE, DEAR UNCLE SAMUEL. You helped to solve a crucial piece of the puzzle in a moment of such heightened tension that will bring Alexander and Charlotte on the road to find Augusta -- ❤❤❤
