As long as you’re trying to fight it, it’ll stay locked in place. Bring the feet of the legs together at the bottom, and you can lift the locks out easily. Been playing with mine a bit, and figured that out.

Hey mate, just wondering what's the purpose of the leveling bubble for the tripod if it doens't level up while the phone mounting plate is vertical? It only goes level when the bubble is facing upwards so I'm assuming its for macro shots?

This is a good question, I hadn’t even noticed that until now. I’m not sure why the leveling bubble is there. Should be placed in an entirely different location for it to work for most uses of this tripod.

Very helpful can you tell me how tall it stands at its tallest height ?, I’m using it for sports and a tall height is important for most sports great video tho!
