In this tape, one of the best AA speakers Sandy B. shares on the topic of "Letting Go." There is a LOT of practical, useful tips in this tape, and it is a great help to those who are having trouble "turning it over" or letting go of something (whether it is a resentment, fear, character defect, etc.). This is SUCH an amazing tape! :)
Addiction treatment WORKS! The Twelve Step Model has been utilized as a treatment for alcohol abuse and alcoholism since 1935. It is extremely important to know that help IS out there and addiction recovery is possible. If you are battling alcoholism, drug addiction, addiction or any other form of addictive behavior, there are people who know EXACTLY what it is like!
You can find out more at: www.aa.org - Alcoholics Anonymous Official Site - As should be blatantly obvious, we are in no way affiliated with them or any other Twelve Step Program. We are just looking to provide hope to those suffering from alcoholism or addiction.
It is important to note there are several ways for one to address his or her alcohol abuse treatment. Substance abuse is a very serious condition and has become an epidemic in today's world. Many people suffering with substance abuse need treatment, such as inpatient stays, rehab, or counseling. The importance and purpose of this video, and all our other videos, is to show that recovery IS possible and to give hope to those who are struggling with alcohol and drug addiction issues. Help IS out there! :)
From the book Alcoholics Anonymous: "In spite of the great increase in the size and span of this Fellowship, at its core it remains simple and personal. Each day, somewhere in the world, recovery begins when one alcoholic talks with another alcoholic, sharing experience, strength, and hope."

That is why we have the large and engaged following that we do. Have fun and enjoy listening to the amazing, wonderful, and powerful recovery speakers!

Sherry, most of us “struggled” because we were focused on “trying not to drink”. We have to focus on living differently. During my first four years in the fellowship, I attended a meeting nearly everyday. Sometimes two, sometimes three. That was the foundation for me to begin living in the solution, instead of the problem. My life is unbelievably good today, and I celebrated 25 years on May 8th, 2019. I sincerely wish you all the best! “Go to meetings, clean house, and help others”.

I have to use the program to get thru these stressors. Most of my doing and my side of the street. With all rationalization aside i got to pray for them and my mechanics of life. I heard this a year ago I believe and I love it didn't notice it the first time but is it just me or does he have the same exact voice as George Carlin with a little bit less of the accentuating highs and lows that a stage comedian would have??

I believe let go is key. But sandy just said it. The 10th step has to be utilized to bring forth the idea that before I let go, I must proclaim "I am wrong" aaaaahh... nobody realizes that when I am "wrong" about my "idea" of how to look at a subject I must make amends. To who? I didnt screw over a person or institution.. you apologize to God for " not seeing the truth" I took God's beautiful truth in any form and perverted it. I injected me into it. I am sorry. Aaaaahh!! Surrender turns into serenity. You say yes this is where I wanna be! We say "good now the work and service can begin.!! It's amazing that people believe the serenity prayer gives them courage wisdom and acceptance. This prayer is only meant for clearing the mind. In order that we may start to do step work. Those three beautiful attributes come with work, not a prayer.

From somebody who is Let It Go constantly I can tell you right now sometimes it comes back to me and it is a daily reprieve to keep on letting go and letting go again. I am a Nobody But then again I try to tell myself because I'm supposed to be positive and God is my identity I tell myself that I am with somebody not a nobody. I sit here in this bathtub right now having a drink and I'm supposed to go to a meeting later and talk to my sponsor and boy oh boy is this one of the paramounts and Pinnacles in the Apex of some sort of transitional recovery that I'm supposed to be doing. I am flawed I know that I am after having many more things other than alcoholism BPD to start but who am I
