@brucegerken1063 Lots of Fox purring, huffing, and grunting in this one. The sand was super challenging this year. Next year, I'm taking like half the kit. And I'm using the hard cases. I want to be able to drop the boxes and ride on the beach unincumbered. Cheers buddy.

I went last month! What an amazing trip. I love Martin Head and would gladly go again. I camped the night in Fundy and left early the next AM.

It's such a great spot. I look forward to the trip every year. I'd love to find a great beach for camping out on the island here as well. Still looking though. Cheers!

Great ride and camp.....now back to some Island rides...Look forward to see some home stuff. Thanks for bringing this old salt along! Garth

Yeah this is always a great spot. Did you see the water line in the morning, LOL. That was a little concerning hearing the waves so close the door through the night.

Yessir! Nice riding! Busy spot that weekend, and that high tide at your doorstep, just right to get the fresh salty air. I’ll bet the spicy Italian sausages were yummy! Every time I look at my pocket stove I’m reminded of the dripping mess it made on the burner, lol, good times! Your hill climb out seemed to be on one breath! Nice work buds! And yes, the thumping and purring of the single cylinder sounds great, I miss it. Thanks for sharing, fun video to watch. Cheers and be well!

Those sausages were great! There was another fella there that brought a whole steak and it cooked up to perfection too. That little grill was the best purchase ever. The tide did freak me out in the night too, lol. I could hear the waves getting closer through the night and started planning my move if I should happen to start floating away. Hope you're having a good week buddy, cheers!

Lovely spot! I've never taken my trike out there, but I've hiked around the area before.

It's incredible here. This year was a bit of a struggle, lol. But it made camp that much sweeter. I'll say the Fundy Parkway Route looks like a fantastic run for the trike for sure. I've yet to do it, but a solid run is in the works for next season. Cheers buddy.

@@IslandADV I've done the Parkway Route a few times on my own and have tried to organize a few group rides of it, but it's like herding kittens sometimes! Love watching your videos, man. Great to see you're still out and about!

Love my KLR, but this series had me feeling envy for your friends' smaller bikes. Giving me the urge to sell my street bike for a DRZ400 and keep the KLR for long distance highway/gravel riding. The stress in your voice through some of those stressful sections was so relatable lol. Situations like that make very aware just how tall and heavy she is.

@seanhootz3563 oh yeah, feel the same way about the lighter bikes. We had folks on this trip last year with 1100s, and it was a slog, but they got it done, lol. But a lighter bike feels so much more fun in this kind of stuff.

Ooooooof, that sand. Something I don't think I'll ever feel confident on.

I was struggling more this year than the last that's for sure. Mostly, I'm just out of practice. But when the bike is not loaded down so much and digging in, I have a lot more confidence. Though I've not yet found it, I'm sure there is some kind of switch in the brain that gets flipped after you spend a lot of time in sand. From there you're in Dakar mode, lol.
