This is an unreleased song from the movie "The Toxic Avenger" (1985).
This song has never been released officially anywhere (a real shame if you ask!). The only versions available were fan edits with either muffled sound, incomplete or with a lot of SFX, at least as far as I know. So I decided to put together the best parts of all the different versions & clean the sound. I'm not a sound engineer so I did what I could. Only the first 20 seconds contains minor SFX in the background (I haven't been able to remove them more) but it's not really disturbing. That last 13 seconds have also a bit of "compressed sound artifacts". If you think you can do better, please, do so.

Sounds to me like you did a pretty damn good job on restoring this song!!! This song truly DESERVES an official release!! While it's used as a song to do workouts to in the movie, it would also make an awesome driving fast/racing tune! If I could mod the soundtrack of my racing games (Gran Turismo, Forza Motorsport/Horizon, Need for Speed), THIS is one of many countless songs I would add! Think about it, doing 200mph in a Le Mans race car with "Body Talk" blasting out the stereo!! In my case, it sends an intense adrenaline rush surging through my veins like electricity through a wire! Often times my eyes start watering! It's like I WANNA DRIVE WAY OVER THE SPEED LIMIT!!!

Thanks! It was not easy because all the sources I found had a terrible sound. Either with a terrible sound, either incomplete either with a lot of SFX, and sometimes all together. It's a shame they don't make official release for all these "lost" songs. And this one is just one among so many others...

@@GillesNuytens Yeah, lots of underrated songs. I can actually relate to this somewhat. There's this car crashing sound effect that I happen to be looking for in car chase movies from the '70s and '80s. Anyone who has played either the PS1 or PC release of "Driver: You Are The Wheelman" would remember this particular sound byte as the crashing sound used in game. However, the version of the sound heard in-game seems a bit truncated at the end, so I split the sound in half, then replaced the second half with an equivalent recording of the same sound byte from the trailer of The Seven-Ups (1973), splicing together two different recordings of the same sound to make the complete sound again. The version I created is available to download from freesound dot org: freesound.org/people/77Pacer/sounds/425275/ The staff of Freesound normally wouldn't allow for a sound effect to be uploaded to the site if they couldn't determine the copyright status, but in this case, they decided to keep it since I provided a ton of very interesting historical information about the sound. Thanks for this whole detailed information. I remember that earlier, youtube removed everything that contained copyrighted material... A friend posted a short video of a concert and youtube deleted it because of copyright stuff. Now everyone can put almost anything here, even entire movies without a problem!

I remember when I first started using KZbin back in 2007, the video length limit was no more than 10 minutes long, which is why my first full-length KZbin movie "Return of the Black Thrasher: The Movie" was originally uploaded from September 2008 to May of 2009 in an 8-part series. Same thing was done with my second movie, "Bonestyx", which was originally uploaded in 7 parts in June 2010. It wouldn't be until March of 2011 when both movies would be uploaded again, this time with all parts of each movie spliced all together! Nowadays, I'm working on a new movie: "Bonestyx's Return", which I plan on uploading in June of this year in a full-length movie form instead of a multi-part story. It's been in the works since Summer 2018. I originally planned to have it done by May 2019, but I was faced with heavy delays in life. I do recommend reading Kaufman's book "Make Your Own Damn Movie" if you're an aspiring filmmaker though. Funny and practical advice.

I didn't "messed up", that part was missing everywhere and I had to use another low rez source to mix with and that was the best quality that was available at the time. I haven't checked out recently if there was a better source for that part. It was also my very first attempt at restoring an audio track.
