Yeah some sexual tension for sure. He seems shy though who knows if he had a girlfriend then or if she was with someone. I don't think either one would want to intrude on the others private life they both seem like respectable type people.

i swear. sandra looks like she badly want the movie to happen in real life. i mean look at her answers. her reaction to keanu's answers. the way she looks at keanu when he answers. the whole interview itself seems like a beautiful, ethereal moment between them.

The simultaneous "...yeah" JUST KILLED ME!!! They caught it and giggled! The host caught it and giggled. THEY ARE PURELY PRICELESS. The movie IS them, she alludes to it in multiple interviews and he either nods, blushes, or mumbles tiny "un-hunhs," in the truest form of the cutest introvert 😇 and she certainly doesn't miss what his reactions are. 😉 And then there's something kind of ethereal about the ending! They are walking down a little road "back" to each other and I was thinking dang that little road seems to be TAKING FOREVER!!! (yep, it was and YEP IT STILL IS! 😫). Sometimes their faces were slightly blocked as they got closer to being together. OK SO MAYBE I AM JUST A HOPELESS ROMANTIC (yep), but the foliage that initially blocked the full view of their faces from each other was almost like an analogy of "blockages" on her life's road and on his life's road, keeping them apart, blocking them from each other. But somehow, just like in the movie, they remain connected against the odds. That darn foliage was subtle but it WAS "in the way!" NO, I don't mean that the actual script intended to convey such an analogy! I just mean that watching a movie that really grabs your heart can take your mind ALL OVER THE PLACE! 😆 That can be good and bad, it can be totally on point or totally off base, way out of left field, but still lots of fun 🤣 To me, the BEST MOVIES always evoke thoughts (in MY head) that are way more imaginative, analytical, wacky, revelatory, depressing, uplifting, dreamy, and definitely more romantically gooey!!! With BIG moo-moo eyes locked on the screen when you have PEOPLE LIKE SANDRA AND KEANU sharing space!!! So yeah, on that little (long) road they didn't completely see each other for a few moments, she had to tilt her head it seemed, around a teeny-weeny brief bend, and then she could see him. (LIKE IN LIFE, RIGHT??) But that foliage also blocked OUR full view of them. Like I really believe they had and still have a life "together" that was/is unseen by the world, and that means literally: quiet, incognito/platonic/innocent time spent together as friends, but they probably long for more and need more 🥺 but can't (yet); AND it also means spiritually: an unbroken connection that has ALWAYS been obvious and palpable from Speed and beyond. Ok so yep, I'm back down to Earth now ☺ To anyone who doesn't SEE A THING between these two, that's fine, but please don't come blasting me because I, like so many other fans, DO "see something" so rare and beautiful with these two OR we just love thinking that we see something so rare and beautiful, and it's actually THEIR FAULT because those two have some crazy crazy powers that MAKE US SEE IT, real or not!! So thank you Keanu and Sandra, we LOVE YOUR LOVE, whatever it is or isn't!!! 🥰🥰🥰 (p.s., I know the song they are dancing to, "This Never Happened Before," was Paul McCartney singing but I swear if you listen to it a few times it almost sounds like Keanu's voice, honest to goodness. But that's just my spaced-out gooey imagination, right!? 🤣😂🤣😆 But wouldn't that be so fitting!?!?) By the way, I was so bored tonight and I scrolled through KZbin and this popped up so YEP, I went back and watched The Lake House again and then all of this stuff popped into my head so I wrote it because it was fun and like I wrote somewhere else, sometimes it's ok and sort of soothing to escape and to live vicariously through movies like this one. I'm ok with that 😃

whoa what you said is deep and interesting. they share like an unspoken truth. something personal only between them. that remained in tact all these years. she said it in a recent interview. they share an energy (feelings for each other) that is beautiful. these two are soulmates and they both seem to be waiting for the other to make the move. she really wants him to know her feelings and made it public on ellen. and shes is really private just like him. and funny enough he replied publicly on ellen. its kinda tragic because its like they can't be together just yet. something is preventing them to be together but maybe someday they will make that fearless choice to be together.

She didn't want anyone bringing presents either !! I heard Sandra explain all this in another interview. She also said Keanu stayed with her until the very end and then joked when he said no he didn't ! Sandra said "your were the third party in the marital bed. Don't you remember"?? Oh my, if that doesn't tell Keanu something ???

Keanu seems very distant as though this is a boring interview that he is forced to do. The Lake House was a beautiful movie and thats all there was to it, as far as Keanu Reeves is concerned. after that , its work for him and he moves on. He tries not to get attached to his female co-stars while working. its just a job for him. Probably he prefers being unattached due to his past tragedies that have occurred in his life and he doesnt want to heat broken again. So he just immerses himself in his work and his charitable causes, his love of motorbikes . He is just too deep and down to earth, simple person to really understand him and i guess the last place he would look for as a life partner will be Hollywood.
