At 83 years of age I felt almost in tune with Sandy. I laughed, but underneath I felt the dread of ending up like him. A sadness at the loss of being considered of value. So you look back at the times when you mattered.

Some beautiful observations here Marie ... thanks for sharing. I have always loved Barry's Sandy Stone monologues as they are both amusing and very poignant and always penetrated to the very core of both the banality and the joy of our humanity
