I have finally decided that there is NOTHING you can't draw and make look amazing! Whoda thunk a lizard would get you so much attention?? Congrats on that tho. Hopefully it will draw in more people for you. You deserve so much more interest and support for what you do. TFS

This iguana is absolutely amazing! It’s lovely to hear you encouraging and answering questions from other artists as well as those of us who follow you on KZbin and take your classes … while I’m typing the iguana is appearing before my eyes … I just don’t know how you do it! ❤️

Amazing, Sandy! I love them! In Mazatlan I go to a Zumba class in a park where the iguanas sit in the up in the trees, sunning and watching us dance.

I’m so glad that went viral!!! It’s amazing and well deserved, Sandy. They are DEFINITELY missing out!! Maybe some will come over… I have watched and listened to Peter Draws for quite awhile. I’m sure you remember when he said he wasn’t really a fountain pen collector ….lol. Isn’t he talented? Not only with his drawing but also in his humor. I bet you noticed and loved his humility which was evident from the first time I watched. It’s one reason I subscribed immediately. So refreshing!!! Oh, Sandy! You are the most talented person I’ve watched and it’s in so many mediums and categories!!! I love watching you create a card, making the background, painting watercolor, drawing in pencils, Copics, pastels, inks, etc. I can see the tremendous growth in the three years I’ve been watching KZbin. I sincerely didn’t think you could improve like that but I see it especially in watercolor. I started watching KZbin looking for watercolor tutorials as I live in small area with no interest in art. I mean it’s BAD! There’s not any Art classes in the schools?? The JH , where I taught Math, had a part time retired teacher come back and teach a few years. When he and the HS and Elementary Art teachers left the district didn’t even attempt to replace them??? I have tried to get it going in the schools and town and the lady who runs the Chamber of Commerce was so against doing anything or even letting ME write a grant, etc. The mayor put on big show but he backed out when it was just me a friend…. I’m not giving up. We just bought a house in May with a huge shop and a she-shed. It also has 2 doors in the front of the house and one opens directly into a room that I’m going to set up for my arts & crafts. It would be very easy to hold a small class. I’d love to get something with children started in the she shed. There’s a lot of work to do before then! It’s an older home with a huge yard and garden with a large water well and pretty decent size well house. It’s older (1952) but built extremely well. We’ve been working on updating everything. Electrician just finished the electrical. He had to replace panels outside which this house has 5 instead of just one or two. He also did all the inside which was better part of 6-8 weeks!!! He didn’t realize our entire house was built from stucco and double layers “to boot”….lol Wow! I’ve such gotten off track. Hopefully you will be patient with this 63 year old. After retiring due to illness I found KZbin and the artsy people have made a HUGE difference in my life! You have been one of those people, Sandy!! Congratulations on the 8 million viral video!! Who knows?? Maybe, if it’s alot of “gamers” they might join us over on the light side….lol Just wanted to tell you how much you have helped me. More importantly, I wanted to tell you and send you a big thank you!!! You have no idea how much difference a few people on KZbin made in bringing joy and hope during a very difficult year. Your upbeat and positive, bubbly and encouraging personality was as important as your talent. Thank you for so generously sharing your time and talent. It matters. It really does! Sending prayers and blessings, It’s going very slow. Sending prayers for many blessings, Nancy Rolfe Texas

Your pic turned out fantastic! After watching this video, I finally tried doodling and was pleasantly surprised by the result. Your commentary on just allowing the background to take you where it's going to take you really hit home as I worked through it. And I loved the iguanas. My nephew has one (yes, I nearly fainted when he "introduced" us 😱) and I'm slowly beginning to appreciate them... from a distance.

I’ve only seen one in person once. It was about 6 feet long, I was sitting happily and sketching on a bench in Puerto Rico and he just trundled on by and gave me a look as I froze in place hoping he wouldn’t come any closer!!

Sandy, I love learning from you! I have just purchased this lovely fountain pen and look forward to trying it. I have used Copic Multiliners in the past for doodle projects, techniques I learned from Karen Thomas who lives near me. Keep making us stretch our artistic muscles!

Hi Sandy, love your content so far! I bet a video game developer(s) would pay you very well to handle their conceptual illustrations. Maybe not your cup of tea so to speak, but I think you would be a great, dare i say, ‘Monster Specialist’?! ❤

How strange that YT thinks you need a doodling video but I watched it anyway. I couldn't imagine what you could say about mindless doodling, seems like mindless shouldn't need help, but you surprised me. I really like the idea of doodling on top of colors. Thank you! I hope you get a lot of views, just because I always want your videos to do well. It will be interesting to see if YT was right though & good luck with figuring out why that 1 iguana was so popular. Grats on so many views for it though.

This is very inspiring to me! I have a fountain pen with a different tip. What type of tip are you using on this project? It looks like it flows better than mine.

Every pen is a little different-and paper matters too. The nib on the Peter Pen is whatever came with it.
