Sandy, your channel came up as a ‘suggestion’ and I couldn’t be more happy that it did - all I can say is “WOW”. Am an instant fan and have subscribed. “Thank you” so much for this video on bokeh, never dreamed you could do that with pencils! Every medium turned out ‘stunning’ and your detailed explanations were clear and very enjoyable to listen to. What an amazing artist you are!!!

I have never understood the huge interest in Bokeh.....I mean, I like it for what it is but I don't have a burning desire to create and re-create with it, if that makes sense to anyone. But I totally love watching you make it happen! And that rabbit.....well, anything with rabbits capture not only my attention, but my heart. That is beautiful. And I could spend hours watching you start and finish such pieces. Thank you for sharing and teaching the gifts you have!

I think it’s because it’s an easy way to simplify a drawing. You can turn distracting elements into blurs far away and keep the focus on the subject.

You'ree a genius I will be watching much more. I can't believe I have never seen this technique with the strainer. I'm so glad I'm on your channel. I only found you a few days ago, but seeing you using the strainer has me convinced to spend this cold, snowy, spring day going through your channel! I bought strainers to sharpen my pastels-- instead of a pricey pastel sieve-- but using it for making powdered pencils is genius!
