The most difficult one was the hog looking beast in chapter two (secret boss) with the electric staffs. This boss took me 2.5 hrs to beat. The bear was easy and took 1 try

I just bought this game and I freakin love it. When I made it to that second boss as the golden cicada, first he kicked my butt. Then I'm like "Ok, let's see you do that again." Then he beat me like 10 times in a row. So then I was like "ha! I've memorized your attack patterns now and dodged your earthquake attack" only to get energy blasted to the face from full-screen. It took me dying like 30 times to figure out how to beat him, but it was fun. Then I met White-clad Noble and got smoked lol. This game is great. I like how it doesn't hold your hand, and I don't know about you, but when I beat a boss that kicked my butt 30 times, it feels good to see that defeat screen.

It genuinely is. But at the same time, if you have the correct build, it's not. It's very dependent on what you're using and how well you utilise what you're using. For example, some bosses can be completely trivialized by immobilization. But some bosses are the complete opposite. Immobilization on some bosses is completely useless

He then is unable to be locked onto and he will pop out of nowhere (usually a direction you’re not looking) and you have to use intuition and the blessings of Jesus to know when to dodge when he does a heavy aerial attack . By this time, you still don’t get time to lock on because afterward he will immediately dump combos on you. If you pause for a split second to press R3 to lock on, you’re good as dead. (I’m still on that nigga and took a 2-day break. Might jump back in tonight. 😂😂😂”

@@thorinhannahs4614 My guy, you can't use your abilities on him, he has delayed attack combos and his sword is like half the size of the arena. He's not easy in any shape or form

@@oxsila Yeah the boss is asking you to either bang your head against the wall with your play style or switch it up. Yeah immobilize doesn't work, you can now focus your mana on pluck of many and cloud step. You can also use transformations and you can respect freely so now your pluck of many or cloud step are better. He is pretty straight forward he will do an attack chain which you can dodge or "see through" and then he teleports which means focus on dodging or cloud stepping. Later he gets much longer attack chains so just be aware. You can max out mobile spin which if you stagger him will grant you a ton of Focus points or Qi for your vessel and Spirit attack. I did it in around 8 or so attempts. I recall hating Cyan Loong a bit more.

I mean it is easier, I'm on chapter 4 in 16 hours have killed every boss. people are just using the wrong upgrades and spamming pluck of hair instead of using parry and immobilize more often. the chapter 1 snake boss took me 6 attempts and that's been my highest deaths till now. and don't spec into multiple stances waste of skill points.

@@SuryaGupta-te7fq yellow hoong and the black smith are the only difficult boss fights till chapter 4. also the snake guy was difficult cuz he was early into the game and i didnt know the combact yet. and he only took 6 times, 20 minutes. unlike yellow hoog who took me an hour. every boss before that is braindead easy unless you're shit with parries and have to use hair which takes 70% of your stamina.

@@TheMask8882 Honestly, if people want to call a game where resting respawns enemies, you need to manage your stamina somewhat and dodging has i-frames, I'll accept it. I haven't heard a single person give a concrete definition of what a souls-like even is. No one can agree. To me, a soulslike for me has to actually be extremely similar to dark souls 1. So it has to have lots of interconnectivity in its map design, has to have very indirect storytelling, relying more on environment and item descriptions etc to give you the main story of things

After countless hours I learnt the easiest way to beat all bosses in early stage is to reset spark and assign it to one which will be better for the boss. In most cases I just spent all my spark in health and stamina. Worked like magic.

I love this game but some of these bosses are harder because they limit the player, you’re doing your thing and suddenly phase 2 has a gimmick, half of stamina, rolling in mud, no transformations, you’re slower. Adapt mid fight 😂 they’re brutal, and am I the only one that feels like phase 2 is just spam fest for the bosses. Faksha King, badass design n fight. Spammer of hell.

High emotions often make for very poor battle decisions sometimes. If you hit a wall repeatedly in one section, that is your cue to put down the controller, shut off the game, and walk away from it for awhile or go to bed. You would be amazed how many times just sleeping on a hard boss or puzzle resulted in me getting exponentially better at powering through them. Games that make you have to strategize and learn your opponent's move-set in order to exploit weaknesses are a really great, if not rage-inducing, fun challenge. The dopamine reward from beating them is literally unparalleled.

There is no worse feeling from a boss fight knowing you friggin' had to take a long time beating his ass and the BS occurs right when that SOB was within a few hits away from death, only to have cheap crap done to you, negating all that progress. It's a friggin' feeling I had too often.

If you lose your shit at the wandering wight, just play a different game before you have to buy a new controller, TV, or console, or all 3 lol you will quickly realize it's one of the easiest fights compared to most of the other bosses
