This is a really good theory - I've just finished all the books and there's so much description text that made me think of new San Guard but also... specifically the new Stormcast as well. Weeping, confused, bleeding, enraged angels. Given the san guard came out this way, I gave up hope on that. But a returned Valdor with horror-themed flesh angels could be a really good refresh for... the Custodes? or Imperial Agents next edition? Surely custodes, maybe with clipped wing flaggelant blank-marines? Could be a good fit for spammy cannon fodder that would balance them out. Valdor hero model could be a good anti-hero too. The side plot vibe of the book series is that we're entering an era of shades of grey. Asides about chapters of marines attempting to leave chaos, etc. The fact remains that the book specifies that Valdor has an *army* and the word is used multiple times in a army game lore book. So if they're doing nothing with that in the next 2 years, seems weird. But yeah even if true, the new sanguinary guard is such a miss it destroys all potential theories which is really amazing work.

2025 is going to be an interesting year of tabletop, books, and possibly shows(though part of me does not want it because of Amazon behind it and other reasons I rather not get into). And even though I didn't see the video I feel like Lost Primarch note is just something they do to get people interested but do not do anything with it or will only get another clue in small vague information of them.

Interesting theory, really interested to see the king in yellow story line finished up to find out what’s going on. On a personal preference I just want wings on the sanguinary guard they’ve lost their flare in my eyes now

The yellow King 's army is still 3-4 years away at least , in my opinion. I think GW simply did a huge mistake with the SG. They didn't expect for them to turn out like they did and then it was too late to start from scratch again.... Yellow King's Angels will be a thing in late 11 th edition if not the 12th....Many years of lost SG sales....

In my opinion they’re going to build everything up for the next 2 years, then 40K turns 40. If they don’t do anything with that it will be a waste.

Talking about the King in Yellow’s army and not even mentioning the Graels? Never mind the winged marines they’re the most powerful and most interesting new thing. Powerful daemons with human blanks inside them directing them. Like the exact opposite of the old concept of a daemonhost. Hope we do see these released as a new faction - would be amazing!

@InquisitorRomanov that was established by the road map of 10th edition, Q1 of 2025 Astra Militarum, Aeldari, and Imperial Knights. Plus we still have Emperor's Children and Space Wolves refresh to consider as well.

And with those will come the beginning of the end of another edition, and a huge campaign that moves the story forward. We'll see what comes of it. Also, I think that "year of chaos," means a lot more than just Emperor's Children.

The old wings looked like Halloween costumes, but I wish they had tried to fix them instead of bining it. The swooping hawks wings look great why didn't they do something like that.
