It's not just press e and q and swap like genshin. After playing genshin since release i got tired of its repetitive combat and decided to quit. I even have c6 xiao and albedo and c2 to c3 characters but im surprised i am enjoying wuwa more.

I love how both games have their own pros and cons, Genshin having smoother gameplay, better story and presentation (for now) and a simpler landscape for exploration. Wuthering Waves have far superior combat system, a better Echo/Artifact/Relic system that capitalise on the combat and more detailed designs. This allows both games to coexist in their own niches

By the way you can actually precharge heavy attack before casting E or Ult and if you keep holding until E is either placed or Ult animation over it will let you minimise the wait between activating it and placing the ice

Listen to the rhythm of her attack's sound. At some point it becomes hand-ear coordination like rhythm games, which is what everyone's been saying about her.

There is a few indicators... When her cursor is in the Frostbite zone, she gets a sound cue and a flash cue on her character. You don't really need to look at the bottom bar. And if you have enough muscle memory you would land on the same spot anyways. Only using Ult, Skill and BA5 will allow you to release it earlier.

Fun fact the game's theme is sound related stuff. You can see that through words like resonance, concerto, waveplates. And Sanhua has a rhythm to her spells, its really nice to see the theme pull through the characters as well!

Hey, I noticed you keep re-activating her attack too early and skipping the 2nd hit, which has the same multiplier. I think if you wait just about 1/4 or 1/3 of a second longer to start charging the bar again the 2nd attack will come out and increase your dps a lot.

I'm biased towards KURO GAMES, I'm a whale in PGR, considering I always aim for the character at least SS to SSS, along with their weapons, the combat in WuWa is a real aesthetic of its own. But man, if Kuro Games were actually forcing players in a grid lock with no skippable feature, they should have at least improved their story in the first place.
