Sanibel Florida Trip.
On a trip to the Florida Keys, Exoman and Farm Girl visited Sanibel Island for two days just before Hurricane Ian caused heavy damage to the beautiful island. For us, it was a relaxing much needed break that included restaurants, shops and a beach trip. Little did we know, that just two weeks into the future, the Island that we came to love would be forever changed.

Cherish the memory, it's all gone today. I'm devastated, we have three condos out there one week a year, and it's our best week of the year. Looks like it will be a while before we get back. No Mud Bugs or island cow this summer. Thanks for sharing.

@@maumor2 what's your point? Ian certainly didn't help them in rebuilding. And I was merely listing favorites on Sanibel, and how they were destroyed is far less relevant than that they were destroyed. So, keep it to yourself if all you can do is make the conversation dumb.

Thanks for taking us along. We stayed at Sanibel Arms on East Gulf before.Nice place. At 6:10 you went by Jerry's market on your right. Get grouper at Doc Fords. Baileys has great pastry. Sue likes to shop along Periwinkle. So sad about the destruction. We hope folks can bounce back. Great people on island. Be well.

Exo & Banshee Farm. Some folks are purely blessed 🙏🏻 as Y’all are. Got in and out of Sanibel just in time. I’d rather be lucky than good. I found if you’re good, luck comes more often. Y’all got home. The dock was askew. No matter, couple tethers and good to go. I remember in a vid Exo, you lived with your Mom in Colorado. I’m here high and dry. I’m at least a decade older than y’all are. My motorcycle racing, days are over. I road raced Daytona, Colorado, California, Texas...started in Minnesota. I hurt everywhere everyday. I don’t do Oxy, or any of that bs. What hurts most is my lady who is doppelgänger of Banshee is gone. No physical pain outweighs emotional loss. It’s too late in my life to find someone else.

Hi Tom, Thanks for visiting and commenting. There are times that I envy simple-minded people and the obvious comfort that accompanies limited awareness. I have been rewarded all my life because of my curiosity and awareness. But this has shifted. As the inevitable moves closer, my analytical realist mind torments me. I have watched this couple for close to two years now. They are a great couple. Both obviously physically fit and work hard at it. But quite honestly I think that they won the genetic lottery. You do not look like her without starting with something pretty special. Good Luck guys and take care

Yeah, but I have to say it's tiresome to hear this. I have watched her work so hard at taking care of herself with a grueling fitness regimen and abstinence from the garbage that unfit people put in their bodies. I have watched her stay committed to studying and applying nutritional principles for nearly 4 decades, then to have soooo many people want to say that it's genetic or surgery. You can imagine how unjust it feels. It's just people who lack any discipline who want to blame genetics for their problems or attribute genetics to other peoples hard work.

When he retired at 65 he had a physique any 18 year old would die for. I used to say Vinnie had a six pack, I have a keg. I would try to explain it but anything I say sounds worse. I really understand and I was not getting on you personally but we all should focus, if anything, on the effort people put into success in anything. I was born poor and fatherless and it was always tempting to envy those who "won the lottery" with good homes and responsible parents but I learned that that is not the right focal point. Yes some are born rich, some are born with good genes, some have great parents etc. but we should not focus on that so much as we do on their behavior and the fruits of their labor. If she sat at a bar and drank those fruity high calorie drinks, gave into temptation and ate the things she wanted and basically lounged around, she would be fat and common just like so very many. That is so easy. While others are eating pancakes with sausage and syrup, she is working out hard and fasting til 1pm. While our friends are out in the bars at night drinking too much, we are at home having tea these days. Most women who do not look fit like her have a drastically larger calorie and toxin load. The toxic sludge comes from not reading... from not wanting to look at labels and know what it means to eat things like high fructose corn syrup and preservatives, pesticides and other chemicals and empty calories, and all those other toxins. As for Vinnie (Jen's grandpa who's genes she got in spades' name was Vinnie) Vinnie's physique may have been purely genetic.I assure you that Jen's is mostly hard work, good nutition, and caloric restriction. Again, I understand your point. This just gave me an opportunity to speak my mind. It really was not at you. I need to make a video about this. And finally, yes, she has good genes. Thanks for watching our videos. It means a lot.

@@exoman I understand. I myself get irritated when someone says that I am Lucky for what I have, I got up every morning and worked for it. As for Vinnie, no his was definitely earned, he had a lean physique but he worked out twice a day. You know you mention about diet. I have an acquaintance who is 49 who could be a bikini model. I have never seen her when she was not drinking and I am told that she drinks to excess daily. I am also told she hasn't worked out a day in her life. Now I can tell you that it is beginning to show in her face and also she never smiles. Externally she might look great but there is a train wreck coming. You guys keep doing your thing, it is obviously working for you.

Unfortunately our beautiful Sanibel Island is pretty destroyed now they almost had the bridge back together they’re trying to have it done by the 29th the latest if not sooner but just about everything on the island is wiped out I live down here full-time we’re slowly picking all the pieces up we’ll get there will be back
