Wow what beautiful shells after the storm. It would be so hard to walk away and leave them on the beach, but after a while there would not be any on the beach. I remember when Daytona had tons of shells but look at it now. So Ty all for leaving the live shells so you can have shells to see when you are as old as I am!!!!!! Ty Ty Ty ❤

Whenever I think about the dredging piles that I’ve been lucky to visit and shell-I just am amazed at allllllllllll the shells that just come from a small portion off shore-millions of shells shipped off from collection piles; dump truck after dump truck. It blows my mind how many shells are out there in the ocean and only a small portion actually wash up if you compare it with a dredging job 🤯 There are many many shells out there but yes, we can all be mindful for sure 👍🏼 👍🏼

What a lovely trip with your beautiful family! Connor is adorable! I will be praying for him. My 11 year old grandson is like your Connor. Patience and consistency are so important. Learning in nature is truly a gift from our Heavenly Father. Safe travels. Thank you for taking me along on another amazing beach walk! Congrats on the huge horse conch! “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” Philippians 4:13 ❤TN Nana

Loved seeing you put the live ones back in the water! I lived on St. Augustine Beach Island about 20 years ago when a hurricane skirted the island. My son and I went out to collect sea treasures and there were a ton of star fish stranded on the beach. We started picking them up, checking to see if they were alive. The live ones got put back in the water. A man walked up to us asking what we were doing. He said there's so many you can't make a difference. As I put one back in the water I said, "I made a difference to that one". He started helping us! LOL

What a great story! I'm sure your son like mine will remember these events for a lifetime ❤️ I believe in the power of "one"...if everyone adopted that mentality there would be less problems in the world lol. Take care and thank you for watching.

Wow! The horse conchs! How thrilling and for saving all those back in the ocean the good Lord gave u one! How wonderful to find one of those beauties!
@FloridaBeachWalks8 ай бұрын
I know!! Was so thankful! I couldn't believe it was empty and just sitting there with all the people around but they probably thought (like we thought) it was alive so people didn't even bother to check. So it all worked out :-) Blessings!

Ive done a lot of shelling and watch a LOT of shelling videos and I have never seen SO many horse conchs in one morning ! God sure blessed you with an awesome trip ! Keep working for the Lord and he will keep blessing you !

Amen to that sister! Wow that's an amazing bit of information to reflect on. I know some people might not understand (you will!) but I pray every time I go shelling that God will lead me to the right beach/time and if there is anything special that He will lead me to it or someone also that is at the beach looking. I get such peace from that. Blessings to you and thank you for for support and for watching!

The mud to the left of the fishing pier, if you’re facing the Gulf, has amazing shells in it! All you have to do is start digging where the water rolls them!! Try it with your son sometime!! TTFN 👋🏼 ❤

Aww thx for that! Another dredge spot about 1hr north of this spot had dredging that they didn’t open to the public and they use to store the shells right there on the beach. It was painful staring at that huge mountain of shells for a month and no one was aloud in BUT sometimes the guard felt sorry and when we were turned around would toss a shell to us and when we’d turn around be like “I don’t know” 😉 So when the project was all finished, I went back quite a few times and dug in the sand there where the shell mountain was and pulled out lots of shells!! 🐚 Thx for watching!!

What a lovely adventure; you were able to help so many snails get back into the water. It’s crazy that the storm was so intense that it could beach such a weighty animal! I’m so glad that you got to keep on for yourself, too; how did it look all cleaned up, or did you keep the barnacles on it? The Lightning Whelks were fabulous as well 🐚 wow!

The power of water is so strong for sure. It was quite something to see all of them and I'm so glad my kids were able to see all of them. I did clean it all up (was sitting in bleach for days) and it is a cream color. When I post on Instagram I'll mention you in the photo comment so you can see the after result (I'm a little behind on Instagram posts at the moment so it might be a few days lol). Thx for watching! 🐚

Thank you Nana! My daughter came with us also and I was thinking "I didn't have a clip of her lol" but I did see her reflection in the water in one of the clips 😊 Anyways, thank you for your prayers. We sure do need them with Connor. Things are up and down with ADHD for sure but like Philippians 4:13 says "all things." Got to hold on to that for sure. I said a prayer for your grandson. Thank you for your continued support and watching. ❤ -Roxann
