If you are careful never to put anything in there except #1, #2, and cheapie toilet paper... it will serve you well. Flush it often to keep it from getting plugged up. Put a sign up if necessary. Baby wipes will jamb it up, as did mine. Use Saniflo descaler every 6 months to clean out the insides. When installing the 1" pvc drainline, use gradual sweep bends, or 2 45 degree bends in lieu of a 90 degree bend. The least amount of bends, the better. This will allow low resistance flow into your main sewer. Follow the instructions. It's never as good as a regular toilet, but it does the job.

Al, Now that it's been a year, what is you impression? Mine is still going strong, although I have had to take it apart to unjamb or clean several times as the above poster did. It takes hours, and is a messy job. Always seems to be hard to avoid leaks when reassembling. Mine is in a tight corner, and makes for a torturous job. Recently, while descaling with the Saniflo descaler, I had this weird experience: As i was running a flush cycle, and was pouring in the descaler, the little red plastic lid's seal ring on the bottle fell in! Before I could reach in and catch it, it went down with the flush. I thought I was in for another disassembly and removal. However, it continued working fine... flushing several rounds of toilet paper. I suspect it is still in the impellor compartment, but not obstructing the blades... yet. Anyway, I will watch and wait. Anyone else have experiences with these?

@@robertmonroe5606 So far (knock on woods).. it has been running fine, considering there is minimal usage, I have this toilet installed in the basement. Occasionally, it needs to be flushed twice to ensure everything is adequately flushed..
