@NickQuinn19865 жыл бұрын
@@RyNeaSoulMusic What Daw you using? I bought it and try to integrate with Logic Pro. It is a pain in the arse. I love the kit and you can get some cool sounds, plus it comes with sample banks and soft synths (Massive, reaktor) that are probably worth it alone. But it i pretty frustrating setting it up with Logic.

Hey all, can I just say that this series has been the easiest to understand from scratch that I have found. I would say that trying to set up on win7 64bit is a nightmare. This takes nothing away from this tutorial, it is 100% first class. The problem is the installation directory for the vsts. It took me nearly 2 weeks to sort it so if anyone is facing the same problems " massive could not be loaded " let me know and if I can help I will. It drove me bonkers!!!

Hey Sanjay, I purchased the mikro mk3 about 3 weeks ago and have had a struggle finding a video for complete beginners. I watched your series and after a few hours I've already put together a track barely having to touch my keyboard. Most other videos presume that you already know everything and that you have just installed another midi controller. I paid £180 for the controller and was about to pour acetone over it because of the software. It took me nearly 2 weeks to sort out libraries/audio/midi. Now I'm sorted I can settle in and your videos are great. I lose concentration very easily so these 8min bursts cover all the basics and the tips are invaluable.

@@SanjayC Thanks for replying, I actually thought the post was closed. I listen to late 90s early noughties trance. I'm in Ireland so I was young when the European trance revolution was hitting. Your tutorials are great. The trouble is the Mikro 3 is not great. You have taught me great things, it would be so helpful if you could keep in touch - I commented on your fourth video that took me all day today haha well I am slower on the autism spectrum i mentioned and that your teaching was perfect for my learning. I also am very focused with this, it takes me so long because it takes a while to process what you are doing and why its happening/ what i might be off on. I am now on to learning my Komplete Kontrol A25 hopefully if you have any recomendation videos that be helpful too. Then i can get going with my production at my studio. Today my internet was bugging every few mins that i loaded youtube so i had to keep reloading these links every so often. Lastly, I know people do it anyway but I wanted to ask your permission if i could download these four tutorials and then I can always look back at them? I appreciate your time and assistance in doing these all. If you ever do more work like this especially NI products that be awesome to get a heads up. Hey......Great video series! I have a question and hope you can help. I am looking to get either the MK3 Maschine or an Akai MPC but unsure which one will be suitable. My workflow is - Record sample using Audacity Open sample in Ableton and open it in Serato Sound. Chop, flip and record in Ableton using my midi controller pads. Play my drums on the midi controller pads. I do all my arranging in Ableton. My aim is to cut down my workflow and use the mouse and keyboard less. I have read that Maschine is not very usable with Ableton and a lot of workarounds are needed. Is this the case? Also advice on which brand and model that will suit my needs would also be very helpful. The style I am working at is the type of beat making that can be seen on any Rythm Roulette episode (recording old soul and flipping etc). Look forward to any advice anyone can offer! Thanks.

I’ve spent the last hour watching your videos and and finally making some sense of my in home studio. I ordered this device today after watching this video. Last week I received a Korg Kaossilator Pro Plus that I wanted to use for beats in Logic Pro to play with my guitar tracks for recording. The Kaossilator is overwhelming and has tons more sounds than I need so I may send it back. I just liked that it was a groove box I could use without a computer. This NI device looks like it’ll be a better choice for me but we shall see. I’ve been recording about seven years and just recently jumped to using Logic Pro. Keep up the good work and let me know if you’ve had the Kaossilator Pro or made a video that I missed. Thanks

The Maschine does not work without a computer - its an extension of the software - rather than something like a Trigger Finger Pro, that can run with the computer, or standalone with a midi sound source

@ 3:40 "..but I find that sounds too electronic, I prefer the quantize 50% button". lol. A further assurance real drummers and real drums do have their place. Still, a very nice toy especially for calling up just about any drum sound you can think of on the fly. Finger pad tappers and drummers are truly quite different. Excellent demo, thanks Sanjay.

I know that regular Mashine Mk3 is real power, but I find PC+Mikro easier, more straightforward. However, I saw that understanding the regular Mk3 gives you power of extreme speed and flow in creating, witout keyboard, mouse and PC screen
