People somehow forget the fact that Buggy never lost to Luffy & Zoro one on one. Zoro & Luffy actually had to run 1st time Zoro fought Buggy and Luffy was actually getting beat before Nami distracted Buggy with his treasure. Luffy got sliced, his hat got screwed and than Nami distracted Buggy which gave Luffy chances to beat Buggy

Any other actual fansubs has proper translation for alot of stuff they are missing. I dont get why they use the shitty subs too. It's those little details that shows why crocodile is the smartest villain in one piece. He knows how devil fruits works, he knows more about fishmen than most people do. He knows how the world works and he even knew about the poneglyphs, which are suppose to be states secrets. He is strong, because he is super knowledgeable, not by power only, I'd argue he is not on the level of mihawk with strength, but he is a powerhouse with brains.

@@lukeizabelle2131 Partialy true. He would have created Franky, there are early sketches for all strawhats, except for Robin (this includes the Going Merry spirit). BUT the early sketches of Franky were very different from his final self and, of course, the personality got a lot of flair because, like you said, Oda loves that VA. He gifted him Franky and that's amazing. Ended up gifting us as well!

So he got Bon Clay cause his voice was liked so much and Oda just could not get enough of him and wanted him to be part of the main crew. The dude now has 3 active voices he performs in One Piece - none of them had met yet one of the other.

@@the_Haexler I think what he means is that the way Franky was done was based on Bon-chan's flamboyance. Meanwhile, from Jango to Bon-chan, I think the VA just nailed the test. I don't think Oda wrote Bon-chan for him the same way he wrote Franky for him. But who knows? Maybe he did. I just checked, Jango debuted in the anime on January 12, 2000. Bon-chan appearently debuted in manga March 27, 2000. Curiously, his debut chapter is during Jango's cover story. So yeah, he might have already liked him that since Jango. Maybe you're right about that. But let's face it, have him not done the BEST work as bon-chan, he wouldn't be cast as Franky.

I know that this has been mentioned to you before, but fansubs are much better than the official subs. FYI Bon Clay never says "Oh come my way". What he is saying is "Okama way". Okama is the Japanese word for New/half, shemale, or transsexuals'. Censorship didn't allow them to put that in this show. Fansubbers will translate it closer to what was intended. Keep up the good work.

Hey for u to know there are some little stories about side characters of the show as Bon-Clay on the cover pages of some manga chapters. So after what happened in this vídeo there are a few cover pages about what did Bon-Clay do after this fight and bassically he somehow survived and stayed at Impel Down in level 5.5 and became the King (or Queen ?) of the okama army inside Impel Down.

To be clear, Bon Clay actually escaped the first time he and his crew acted as decoys to save Luffy. They got arrested after that. The anime never shows it but it was a cover story in the manga. There's also an Enel cover story about the moon you should check out because that also never got animated. With so much filler and padding you'd think they'd choose to show the actual canon material that exists but nope.

The subtitles in your episodes are just weird most of the times. e.g. Oh come my way = Okama way (Okama = Crossdresser)... These subtitles for me also made two great moments less impactful, first are luffys words to ivankov about wanting to go to marineford ("If i dont go there... ill regret it", well yeah cool, i guess, but in other translations the word "forever" is added at the end, which actually gives a reason for ivankov to react that way and for the epic music to be played in the Background. Second one is ivankovs speech about miracles to mr2. "Even those countries on the verge of destruction... all i did was ask if they had the will to live... miracles only occure to those with the determination to never stop trying"... is much more impactful than some slaughtered meaning about the country part ending with a measly: Miracles only happen to people who dont give up.. but thats just my 2 cents
