ನಾನು 1980 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿಗೆ ಉದ್ಯೋಗಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದಾಗ ಅದೇ ವರ್ಷ "ಶಂಕರಾಭರಣo" ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಆಗಿ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ ಆಗುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ನನಗೆ ತೆಲುಗು ತಿಳಿಯುತ್ತಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ ಆ ಕಾರಣಕ್ಕೆ ತೆಲುಗು ಸಿನೆಮಾ ನೋಡುತ್ತಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ, ಆ ಸಿನೆಮಾದ ಹಾಡುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ, ಕೇಳಿ "ಶಂಕರಾಭರಣ೦" ಸಿನೆಮಾ ನೋಡಿದೆ. ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವಿಭಾಗದಲ್ಲೂ ಸಿನೆಮಾ ಗೆದ್ದಿದೆ. ಅದರ ನಂತರ ಆ ಹಾಡುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳುವ ರೂಢಿಯನ್ನು ಈಗಲೂ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ. 👏👏👌👍👍🙏😊

Yaadhum urey yavarum Kelir poetic tamil word is synonym to director visvanath. As a young boy I was totally spell bound seeing this movie in telugu not knowing the language. K viswanath proved language is no barrier while visually presenting. Shankarabaranam is a once in a life time movie in 100 years, I rate this as one of the greatest movie. He redefined classical music and made common man listen to classical carnatic music. Siri siri muvva, swathi muthyam, sagara Sangamam and movies of different journos like pesum padam , humorous Micheal madina kamarajan stand testimony to his extraordinary talent as director.he should be given highest award atleast poshthoumously
