I would make the string burn as long as I want to but without damaging it and then make it suddenly vanish, apperar around the spectators arm and revealing something.

I would love to do a version of the Indian rope trick by having the string stand vertically solid upwards with an object tied at the top. Then ( as if by magic ) the object disappears and reapears somewhere else. Not sure if there is an actual trick like this though. You are amazing Jay and I would love to get back into magic someday ( my dad was in the Magic Circle in the UK ) when I have a bit more time

If I were to perform magic with just a piece of string, I would wanna find a way to make it seemingly grow in my hands without any other string added to it or turn string into a deck of cards. I haven't seen either effect before so it would be interesting to perform.

This is a gem. I've fooled some of my most magic-wise friends with this. It's all about making the two crossing actions look just the same; no delay when you steal the ring with the second one. Very interesting. My grandfather worked on the same stage as Houdini back in the days of Vaudeville. I grew up with "magic" and in school performed on stage during variety shows.
