I have a theory for what these Nightmare Forms could be. These forms are not just an ordinary form; No, them appearing here is the result of timelines overlapping due to Bendy and Sans travelling so much between universes. The Nightmare Forms themselves are from alternate universes where the character is much more aggressive in achieving their goals. Let me provide some examples: Nightmare Cuphead: Instead of stopping at just cutting ties with the Devil, he flat-out kills the guy and takes his place on the throne. He's the one taking souls now. Nightmare Sans: Instead of just watching Frisk's entire Genocide Run then fighting Frisk at Judgement Hall, he stops it as soon as he sees the first monster in Snowdin drop, and doesn't stop until Frisk resets. Think of Dusttale but without killing every monster before Frisk can. Nightmare Bendy: He stops at _nothing_ to catch and kill the main character. Remember those boards at chapter 1? Yeah, no, he breaks those down and chucks them at you like javelins. Another thing is that he'll literally kill _everyone_ if they get in the way, including the people who help him such as Sammy and the Butcher Gang. And it doesn't stop there. Any character in any universe could have a Nightmare form. They just need to be aggressive enough to achieve one.

And Cuphead has a Nightmare form too and he didn’t die right? I think this will be only for sans due to the fact they will probably always get their nightmare forms after their week, so I think bendy will lose get send back to the workshop, then after the week, the ink or searchers or any mob in batim will start to act weird and attack Id, then he’ll be cornered then get his nightmare form.

Here is my theory on what nightmare forms are: Basically, a character unlocks a nightmare form when they are dead, either emotionally or physically, however, they need to be strong enough to be able to unlock one. Also note that how strong that character is = how much control they have over the nightmare form. Here is what I mean, as evident in "Nightmare Cuphead vs The devil" Cuphead unlocks his nightmare form after the loss of his brother. This is an example of gaining a nightmare form after dying emotionally. However, Cuphead, being the weakest of the trio, is unable to control his nightmare form, having himself taken over by "another force". Sans on the other hand, as seen in "Sans vs Bendy part 1", is killed by Bendy, unlocking his nightmare form, dying physically. But what gives Sans an advantage is that he is much stronger than Cuphead, hence he is able to control his nightmare form much more. There is not enough info to cover what actually happens with Bendy, so we have to speculate. It is likely that he got his nightmare form by being evaporated by one of Nightmare Sans's gaster blasters in a future "Sans vs Bendy" video. As for his control over the nightmare form, he might have just as much control as Sans. Anyways, that is my theory, tell me what you guys think.

@@drazl1n Sans most likely entered Nightmare form as a result of having died multiple times, and also through the fact that they did warp through multiple dimensions and existing games. Sans’ body couldn’t handle that, and it most likely began to overexert, when it died, it released all of it’s aggression and energy with it, and proceeded onwards to enter Nightmare form or smth.

Ok, so this is amazing, never would have thought that old video would tie into nightmare sans, and I hella excited. Now, to the controversial part. I see a lot of people stirring up old debates in the comments, about who should have won, but many of them are still fueled by emotion and bias, so I want to put out the cleanest and least biased opinion on the matter that I can. And yes, I think Sans would molly wop Bendy. Now, usually I don't get involved in "sans vs other character" debates because Sans's capabilities are very hard to measure, considering the kind of game he is in. Here is the run down of abilities we know he has: Psychokinesis, magic bones, blue magic, giant dragon skulls that shoot lasers, minor fourth wall breaking, karma, mad dodging skills, and teleportation. these are his confirmed abilities, gravity manipulation is also on the table, but to be as fair as possible Ill attribute his making the soul heavier to him pushing down on it with psychokinesis. Now lets look at Bendy: strong enough to rip off the projector's head, in beast form he kinda zoomin ( but cant seem to change directions), can slip through solid matter (whether this be only in the studio or anywhere is un-confirmed, though since he always goes through walls, and never the floors or ceiling, thats kinda a guideline), and is impervious to piddly attacks from Henry with an axe, pipe, or gun (that shoots ink, not a legit gun). Feats, Sans clashed against a blood thirsty killing maniac who tore through everything monster kind had to offer, including the king in one slice and Undyne as well, in FULL ARMOR, then she went full-on anime protag and the child STILL beat her, and he defeated them numerous times. Bendy couldn't even stop a completely normal human being from putting a tape in a projector. Lastly, Cmon, ink isn't immune to lasers, even given the assumption that he could regenerate from ink in the building sans would certainly notice, and teleport bendy out, like what happens in the video, and bendy's regeneration would go poof! and a few blasters would vaporize him. I'm not going to even mention what karma might do to a clearly evil being like bendy who has probably killed a number of creatures. In the end, I know it's just a cool animation, and no hate towards Moro or anyone else, but Bendy is a monster in a otherwise completely normal world as far as we can tell, while sans is a arguably the strongest monster (in a certain scenario) in a kingdom of monsters in a world of magic whose arsenal is designed to stop evil entities. These observations will have little impact of my enjoyment of the video, however, and I'm excited to see this battle, no matter the outcome.

I think for Sans case it's DETERMINATION plus if you think about it if Sans dies where does that leave Chara the DEMON hmm? Honestly I think that if Chara learns that there is more worlds out there that is definitely not a good sign for things to come if anything it's just an all around [BAD TIME!] for every indie games out there even the ones that technically deserve what's coming to them BUT that's just my theory

I think its comes in the form of your true nightmare coming true For the example cuphead lost his brothers soul which is why he went after the devil which is the first instance of somebody trying to steal his soul Now sans his nightmare was papyrus dying but he doesnt give up and when bend y killed him it was the last straw and activated his form so I suspect after the battle sans leaves and attacks bf due to him attacking him in another timeline before frisk

Nightmare modes are activated when something you’ve always feared, loathed, etc. has come to reality (a nightmare you’ve always had). Cuphead’s form was activated cause he had nightmares of losing his brother Mugman and seeing that his brother was killed. Cuphead would do anything to revert this nightmare, this is why he fought the devil. Sans however doesn’t want to die over and over again, he so sick and tired that his nightmare form took place. And now Sans would be hellbent to end this endless nightmare he’s had. That is my theory.

@@helleyes8441 well you're thinking of fanon sans right now, canon sans doesn't remember timelines. canon sans only knows that timelines exist and something is ending them, he pieces together that he's in the timeline with the anomaly in the genocide route because you chop undyne in half with shoes, and then proceed to kill them again with little to no effort (at least in their perspective) however he can also figure out solely on your facial expressions. personally, i think the reason he's coming back here is the fear that he *won't come back.* what i mean by this is that he knows he's not where he's supposed to be, presuming this is the same sans after the fnf mod he might know that if he dies here a simple reset won't bring him back, and that thought terrifies him.

@@Purpleisbestcolor Cringeeeeee what kind of weakness is that? Besides, it's ink. I'm not even a Sans fan, but I'm smart enough to know that ink isn't immune to being vaporized. Physical contact damage, sure. But magic? Sans is equipped with powers to be specifically the strongest monster in the underground when facing an evil entity. Bendy is evil, so his karma damage should be insane. Therefore he should be dead from indirect damage from the blaster anyway

What's nightmare sans ability in terms of fighting tho? Like in the fnf mod he doesn't do any weird stuff, if it just buff sans's energy, speed, attack, and other stats like that than Bendy still would've won and it wouldn't make that much of a difference

So his gaster blasters and attacks will do more damage he will be quicker be able to evade attacks with ease and do damage that will send him straight to hell

Well in my opinion, Sans can actually beat Bendy if he had enough stamina and some time to know what his weakness is. He has some abilities like telekenesis that can slow down or keep Bendy away from demolishing him to death. The problem is, the final battle didn't happened in the studio so Sans won't find the Last Reel which is Bendy's only weakness.
