HEY! GUY WHO EXPLAINED MULTIVERSE LORE ON THE SERVER FOR YOU HERE. Figured it'd be better to explain stuff in the comments instead of the actual server. So, here's a few interesting facts, corrections and bulletpoints about this episode! None of this comment contains spoilers, maybe foreshadowings, but not spoilers. ABOUT CROSS AND CHARA: -Cross's name comes from the fact that his original universe has a lot to do with the letter X. And about him, all I can say is that Cross was an existing Sans, that SOMEHOW merged with his own universe's Chara. This is explained in the prequel "XTale" so there's a ton of waiting until you find out how that happened. -In this version, both Frisk and Chara are males and use "he/him" canonically, but all other variations of Frisk and Chara use "they/them". -What Chara means by "analize these AUs" is that he saw Ink's drawings about them and probably listened to Ink speaking about them, he was never in another AU while being inside Cross. -The fact that Chara was able to teleport into the Main Timeline means he knew the access route, it's like knowing an IRL of a website, you can't access if you don't know it, which is why he can't teleport into any other ones. That means that X!Chara has already been in the Main Timeline before, which, again, is explained in the prequel. -ALSO, The color purple is HEAVILY associated with them and their universe (XTale) throughout this series. So, if you ever see an X or something purple, might be important. (Except for Fresh's parasite which is purple but that isn't related, it's just a design choice) ABOUT THE "MAIN TIMELINE" SCENES: -You're completely right about Sans's weird knowledge about genocide runs, no one, and I mean NO ONE has ever pointed that out on a reaction before, so good for you there, and keep in mind that this guy knows a ton more about timelines than he should. Because it will take a while for the series to explain it. ALSO, HE CAN HEAR AND SEE THE GAME NARRATION AND MAKE CHOICES, WHICH MEANS HE SOMEHOW HAS AS MUCH POWER AS THE PLAYER (Frisk) IN REGARDS TO HIS GAME/TIMELINE. Notice how he can even read what Frisk is thinking about and react to it at 39:58 -Toriel is the only one that laughs at Sans' jokes because in the original game, during Toriel's time inside the ruins, she would exchange puns with Sans through the main doors that connected the ruins to Snowdin, they were pretty much eachother's only real friend. -In the vision when he was hit, Sans sees Gaster in the left. (About his design, it's probably that you got used at him being in an overcoat and stuff with Glitchtale, but in the original game he's basically just a black shape with a face and hands with holes, it's a really simple design) And an unknown character in the right who SEEMS to be a version of Gaster, since they also have holes in their hands, although barely visible. Also, remember: PURPLE/BLUE SWEATER IS FRISK, GREEN/YELLOW SWEATER IS CHARA. ABOUT INK: -Ink has really bad memory, it's canonical that he writes down his thoughts and tasks in his scarf so he doesn't forget them. Also, those "crayons" in his chest are actually his vials, remember? He drinks those to be able to feel emotions. Also, keep in mind Ink's "I was the one who let this happen", that has a ton more depth than at first glance. -He has an intense fear of big, quiet places. That goes back to his time in his original universe, completely blank and lonely. -Dream saving Ink is explained FAR IN THE FUTURE of the series, so, yeah, make a note about it or something, it's something you won't wanna forget. 42:52 I LITERALLY NOTICED THIS ALONGSIDE YOU, I NEVER PAID ATTENTION. That looks like the mysterious chracter alongside Gaster in Sans' vision earlier, look at that X shape on their chest. -Also, this is kinda fun: He's one of the only Sanses who can open and close his mouth. ABOUT ERROR: -Error DOES NOT work for nightmare, that would be Killer. The only similarity between them is the tear marks in their eyes. But Error works solo, always has, always will. In fact, they hate eachother. They have a bit of a rivalry there. -He didn't knew about Cross before first finding him. What he does is show up in random timelines and erase them, but he usually picks at random unless he has a clear objective in mind. What he means by "this time" is all the other times Ink has prevented him from erasing other AUs. I was planning on explaining each of the out-codes and other characters, but since apparently someone explained the important bits to him, here are some fun facts: Ink is often shown being shorter than other Sanses, and is afraid of large, empty spaces, because they remind him of his own (incomplete) AU. He vomits ink when excited. Error hates being touched, and his hobbies include stitching, watching Undernovela, stargazing in Outertale, and kidnapping Swap!Sanses. He actually used to be a Geno, but became Error when he played with his determination. Both are in some capacity capable of communicating with people in the real world.

35:03 Yes, that's gaster. Remember something! GlitchTale designs are so much more as a ''fanon'' thing, Gaster being shown as a scientific, more humanoid that it should be. That's because GT gaster is IN the timeline, but if you remember, in the season 1 of GT, the second fight was against gaster, wich was basically a... blob weird-looking white and black monster. That's more of a CANON thing. In UT (wich means UnderTale btw), when u find gaster, something that btw is REALLY HARD to do since it has very very low probabilities of appearing, it's just a weird looking monster, the only thing is obvious when u look at him is that he has two cracks in his face, and holes in his hand. when u interact with him, it disappears. So, yeah, in that scene, Gaster looks much more canon than GT Gaster. (CHANGING TOTALLY THE SUBJECT) I dunno if you know this, But toriel and sans have a kind of relationship in the UT game. It's not confirmed that they are in love or something, but they are friends for sure. In the underground, Sans used to tell toriel jokes through the ruins' door. Toriel always laughed at his jokes, making sans come over and over every day that he searched for a human on snowdin. Toriel, in her room, has a book filled with bone-like jokes, meaning that she TRULLY enjoyed sans' jokes. Also, Toriel was the one that asked sans to make a promise with her. The promise was: ''If a human ever come through this door, protect them, watch over them. Will you?'' Even though sans hated making promises, he couldn't resist because ''A person that actually enjoys bad jokes have an integrity to wich you can't tell no.''

So as far as allegiances go, Ink, Dream, and Underswap!sans are usually grouped together as the Star Sanses, and Nightmare is usually grouped with Killer!sans, Horror!sans and Dust!sans (those last two I'm pretty sure aren't in Underverse, but John Eyepatch Wolf covered them a bit in the Undertale Fandom video so) and the new sans from this series as the Bad Sanses (creative, I know). You will sometimes see Error grouped with the Bad Sanses too, but I'm pretty sure he's usually a "neutral" party (ironic, given what he's most known for), including here

Also, on the note of info that ere found out to be wrong. Ink, in canon, is unable to feel pain (physical) pain because of his lack of soul, so his "ouch" when colliding with Dream is also such an error caused by the information being published later than the episode that the creator rectify later on in the show. (and what you thought were crayons when you first saw him are actually paints he carries around)

Quick info for future episodes : When Chara says "That's not what they would have wanted", the human Cross Sans is holding hand with is Frisk, not Chara. Chara and frisk are recognizable from their hair. Frisk had purple-ish black hakr and Chara has white hair. (I'm talking about Frisk and Chara from X-Tale of course, not the original Frisk and Chara) Also when Chara was talking about "analyzing other AU's", they were just analyzing the info they could gather from the discussions Ink was having with Cross (I think)

From how I saw it, Cross and Chara could acess the UT (which means "Undertale" btw) world becouse they knew a route/path to it. They don't know any paths to other universes, so that's why they accepted Nightmares help. Kind of like needing a map, or a key to go somewhere. Since UT is the original world, they alredy had a map/key to go there, and Nightmare gave them acess to the other ones. That's just how I interpretated it though xD

You may or may not have already gotten some rather long explanation from the others- XD so I'll just try to do a few Ink calling them C, is possibly referring to X-chara and cross(aka that version of sans name) so whenever he does he's kinda referring to both? I think I kind of understand the reason Cross could teleport before but not now.... though I don't know for sure. My thought is that it was 1. It was Chara's half that teleported with a snap at the time and 2. They had no soul at the time. Now that they have Half of Sans' Soul, they can't do that anymore because Chara can't take over and use that power. It's my guess at least because that seems to be the only thing that really changed.
