I bought the KARE 1080N CCTV system from Amazon in Jan 2017, which now seems to be re-packaged as your Sansco system (all components certainly look the same, except for the brand name). I went to view some images today from 3 days ago, however, it would not load any images, as if none had been recorded. How do you know if the box is recording? There is no indicator light. The 4 cameras still show good images on the monitor. The recording settings seem ok, as per one of your other video. As my system is nearly 3 years old, could it have simply packed in? Is there a reset button anywhere on it? Thanks for your videos.

For the DVR recording issue, we guess the main issue is the internal hard drive. Can you please go to the main menu>advanced>storage to confirm whether the HDD is normal status? If there is any error, please format the storage. it will help with most HDD issues. If there is no HDD, your HDD possibly developed a fault. A replacement to the hard drive will help with the issue. Hi I’ve got the sansco and it’s been working fine for a while , but now the sansco box itself won’t seem to connect to the tv so I can get into the main menu , I only notice this as my app on my Fone stopped showing any camera footage , it’s logged in but just keeps saying ststem could be offline , so the way to fix this would be to get into the main menu , which seems to now not connect to the tv at all , do you have a contact number for sansco as I have not had any Joy getting in contact with them

Once you add the cameras on your Phone via APP, you can remote view these cameras on cellular.

Some DVRs only support playback two cameras at the same time, but all the cameras are recording. You can select any two cameras, search for the records and playback.

I bought this system last week Dan and queried the same thing. My uncles system is able to playback 4 cameras. Apparently the newer DVR supports max 5mp cameras with 2 playback, and the older DVR supports max 2mp cameras but 4 on playback. I emailed sansco and they organised for me to swap the DVR with an older style DVR (which I am presuming is unused as it looks brand new) I literally only swapped them today and can only notice that there's no facial recognition on this DVR. hope that helps

I have had this unit for a long time but has recently stopped recording, I've reset the unit and gone through all the setting but it still won't record. Do I need to buy a new one or can this be fixed?

you can go to the main mneu>system>general and check if you enable the overwrite when storage is full.

Same thing happened to us. Now the camera doesn't work on the app, one is flickering. The wires are connected, this Sansco is so complicated to use. Why can I not just connect/reconnect the WiFi.
