They used to counter ALL infantry (except Shock), so they used to be even better. Their range (16) high Hitpoints (up to 396 with Pioneers, Great Coat and Wilderness Warfare) and 40% Ranged Resistance makes them formidable in firefights.

It's a shame Habsburgian Line Infantry is so dificult to mass, they are one of my favorite Native Warriors. That Stand Ground giving them a fast bombard attack gives them a better chance against Dragoons and even Artillery

I was hopeful about Janissary but man.. Fully upgraded Napoleonic Sansculottes destroys eveything in their way. Except 2 European Musks only. No spoilers :)

Sansculotte versus Voyageurs. The latter should annihilate given they're still villes, have more H.P. & get 1/4 the damage (0.25 multiplier)and then take 40% reduced range damage right.

Considering they have range resist and basically all Musks have melee resist I'd be curious to see a test where the Musks go into Melee
