Sant Baba Attar Singh Ji Mastuana Sahib Podcast | Gurmukh Series [PART 1]

We are excited to share the life of Sant Baba Attar Singh Ji (Mastuana wale). Sant Attar Singh Ji is a Sikh Saint who spread the message of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s Sikhi during the late 19th century and early 20th century.
This podcast focuses on why Sant Baba Attar Singh Ji came to this earth, their childhood, education, time in the army, and finally, sharing amazing experiences of Baba Ji when they visited Sri Hazur Sahib. These experiences include not eating for eight days and having darshan (the blessed vision) of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji.

Love these podcasts. When Sant ji used to do bhagti even snakes and scorpions used to appear before sant ji to have dharshan. The sangat used to get scared and run away but sant ji used to say that the snakes/scorpions have come to listen to bani aswell. They say when Guru Nanak Dev Ji and Baba Mardana used to travel through the jungles, when Baba Mardana used to start playing the Rabab even the animals of the jungle used to come out and sit before Guru Nanak Dev Ji and Baba Mardana. Akaal Purakh loves all his creation.

Hanji thank you for pointing that out ji. Cheema Pind is in Sangrur, but in the Jeevani written by Sant Teja Singh Ji, he writes that in Sant Ji's time, Cheema was in the Riyaasat (principality) of Patiala, hence that was mentioned.

Nahi Ji, this was a different Giani Thakur Singh Ji, born in 1838. They had done Sangat of Bhai Maharaj Singh Ji (the famous freedom fighter and Saint) and were blessed with Amrit from them in the Panj Piaare. Later on they went to Damdama Sahib and learnt Gurbani Vidhya. They were renowned for doing daily Katha at Sri Manji Sahib, Amritsar. They also wrote Granths such as Shaheed Bilas Baba Deep Singh Ji, Gurdwareh Darshan, Shaheed Bilas Mata Gujri Ji and others. They passed away on 5th June 1943.
