Santa arrives at Blackwood Xmas Pageant - Dec 4th 2015

This annual Community Event has been held for over 50 years old is the second-oldest Xmas pageant in South Australia. It is coordinated by the Lions Club of Blackwood in conjunction with other local Service Organisations and businesses.
Crowds of 10,000 spectators are usual and approximately 75 organisations, represented by ­trailer floats and 1000 people, participate in the event. Children’s groups from kindergartens, preschools, calisthenics, schools, scouting, girl guides etc. form a large proportion of the participants.
