That was excellently explained, Kimberly. I loved the explanation of how to sew and close the binding, including the corners with the rick-rack. Awesome. Thank you for keeping the sewing, crossstitching tradition going.

Watched your how to turn cross stitch into a cushion....and voila have 12 cushions....they were going to be made up into a quilt. All your clear cut instructions and attention to detail gave me the confidence to master the technique. Thankyou thankyou thankyou Katherine....

I'm going to either use machine embroidery or iron on letters to the front of the pocket. 'North Pole Mailbox' or 'Santa's Mailbox' Loved your tutorial Kimberly. I started my Santa as soon as my stitch quarterly arrived. Love my Sew Sampler and Stitch Quarterly deliveries!!!

I can't wait to purchase this. I have kept every Christmas since 2004. When new cards come in, I place them in a special holder, this will be perfect! I like that you combined the cross stitch with sewing also, since there are so many that do both!

Great tutorial! Love listening to Kimberly's thought process. I haven't started stitching Santa Baby yet but really like this finishing. Thanks also for the wonderful tips. I seem to always struggle with joining the binding at the end when working on smaller projects. And yes we do have to finagle it!
