Just wanted to come back and thank you Mr. Frank for inspiring me to pursue xylophone. For 3 years I was “stuck” on vibraphone, and watching your stellar performance here was one of the reasons I pushed myself to refine my technique, push my chops, and hone in my time. so i've watched this vids a couple times and the xylo playing is fantastic, but rewatching this i have to give you props for your hand cymbal crashes. that's a big mark of quality on an already super good run through, cuz lowkey hand cymbal parts end up sounding really clangy and bright in DCI fronts a lot - those are like straight up Mahler crashes and i'm so here for it...

I remember watching this a year ago amazed by drum corps and I'm now marching dci all age this year playing xylo which was refreshing to hear because the first front ensemble head cam I watched was xylo. Amazing job Frank!

Great playing from the whole band. This makes me miss front ensemble a lot. Definitely the only time I’ve ever had to play guitar, chimes, and crash cymbals all in the same song. This piece definitely has similar energy, especially with the player switching to a snare stick entirely for a visual flare at one point lol
