I currently have a 2021 Kenevo expert with the Boxxer in 180 mm of travel. I was thinking about the heckler 29 like you have as a second bike or replacement looking for something a little bit more agile, rolls better on trails I don’t do massive downhill but I’m in Arizona. It’s very rough and rocky on most of the trails we ride do you think this bike would be Radically different than the Kenevo. The geometry actually looks very similar on the two any info would be appreciated.

Hey, I already own an alloy turbo levo. Looking to either get a Kenevo sl or the full fat heckler like the one in your video? Would you go with the Kenevo or the heckler if you had to choose?

Hey mate, thats a good question. It all comes down to the length/time that you're planning to ride the bike for most of the time. For instance, 8 or 9 times out of ten rides, on average how many hours are you going to spend out on the trails? The reason that question is so important is that it determines the battery size/range that you're going to need. Personally we prefer to have a smaller battery because its going to weigh a lot less and there for allow the bike to handle better. The heckler's battery is pretty much double the size of the Kenevo SL's (700Wh 'vs 360Wh). We're ridden both bikes a lot and we can assure you that the Kenevo SL is tremendous fun to blast down a mountain on. The Heckler is also a very capable descender but it's also an incredibly capable 'all-round' performer. If you only want to have '1' bike then the Heckler is very, very hard to look past as an ultimate 'do it all' and do it all really well e-MTB.

hi. can you give me some advice on the size based on your riding experience? I would like to get a heckler 29 but I am exactly halfway between two sizes (at the base M and at the beginning of size L). I am 175 cm and saddle height 72 cm.

Great video - very informative. Thanks. How have you found the noise level of the Shimano motor? Many reviewers state that it’s quite noisy and rattles a lot. I’m also considering a Heckler SL, but I’m not sure about the Fazua 60 motor and control ring. Have you experienced any issues with either?
