Santa Cruz La Laguna Lake Atitlan Mini Tour | GUATEMALA TRAVEL VLOG

Today we take a short trip across lake atitlan to the small village of Santa Cruz La Laguna. We were heading for a small gastronomy festival in this charming village.
Perched high on the mountainside this mayan village is a must visit to get a real feel of local life on lake Atitlan. There are few tourists, a slower pace of life and some of the most amazing views to be found around the lake. Today we enjoyed some delicious food at a local institute of technology and watched the sunset with some craft beers by the lakeside.

What an awesome tour! The food looks delicious! I also loved the shots from the boat. I also glimpsed cute dogs! Are there lost of dogs in the area? I'm a huge dog lover but tend to only meet cats on my travel. I can't get enough of that view! Thanks so much for sharing :)

Sounds like an interesting holiday on December 8 that I need to partake in. That is good to note about the ferry to confirm the last departure time. I got stuck in Argentina once because we missed the last ferry by a minute and had to stay in a local town.
