I'm in Bath - about thirty minutes from the Severn Bridge/Wales. You're right, it is a beautiful place. There has to be a few people out there, possibly watching this, who received a Christmas present from Bobby in his Santa suit! I enjoy your anecdotes a lot Mr Whitlock; I'm a musician as well, and if there's one thing we're good at it's a good road story.

I'm pushing 71 so I'm not far behind you brother. I live by myself here in Alaska and your spirit gives me hope I'll still be around for a while. Despite this damn snow... Man, I love these stories! Leon Russell is my musical hero. A dude so cool, he chills your beer by walking in the room. The stories behind the "Layla" album, "Mad Dogs and Englishmen" Delaney and Bonnie... Just wow. And Carl Radle. Carl Radle is the bass player I always wanted to be. I was as crushed hearing about him passing as I was later that year when John Lennon died. I'd love more stories about him. You both remind me of Dougie MacLean out of Scotland. They have been doing weekly "wee" concerts ever since the Pandemic began. These little things have helped all of us tremendously! The stories you tell are wonderful. So appreciated. And yes, we do want to hear more of CoCo! And the dog, too! Beautiful! I hear you concerning the 2 days in a row! Quoting the sage James Brown now "Santa's Got a Brand New Bag". Love the story. Every time I run into kids in the grocery store I tell them to "hold out for a pony". Bobby-that's a funny damn story. I wonder if Bobby was near where Ronnie Lane had setup shop after he moved from London and left the Faces. Shropshire was the location in Wales and Eric Clapton and Pete Townsend used to go there to stay and visit Ronnie.

What a lovely story of your time in Wales Mr Whitlock . I have always found the people of Wales to be the salt of the earth who live in some of the most beautiful places I've ever seen ! Owning 34 guitars I have just learned this is part of guitar maintenance to keep them, all, in perfect playing order......... and that is a Fact..yea keep the temp. constant and t5hey certainly stay in tune really good humidity makes you roll with the flow . got to say 34 guitars keeps you pretty busy..mike i n phoenix, linda went to the cas ino to have fun , Mre I am too afraid to lose the money we may just need,. so I stay home with all the little critter bugs. it is fine. Hey I love the Royal Blue Color of that room. = Blue like my Eyes and my, is one of my favorite colors. = Period. = oh Yes!! it is!!!.. My 2009 Colorado is royal blue and so was my first car a 1975 Mercury Marquis.. the car that took mer from N.Y.C. To PHOENIX BACK IN 1977 ALL THOSE YEARS AGO ......= COOL = God Bless All.
