I asked her if she had pockets in it and she said no… then I handed her a 50 dollar bill and said, “This is for you, better find a safe place for it” and laughed. She asked, “Why?” And I said, “Because you’re working Christmas Eve night, and I know you’d rather be with family or friends.” She gave me a hug and said thank you, and I walked out and told her to have a great rest of her night and Merry Christmas… No, I didn’t give her life changing money, but that felt amazing for me, and I know that she appreciated it as well.
