Well Santas Slay certainly wasn't the Christmas horror movie I would've expected to get IPOS coverage, but I'm glad it was. It's going on my watch list

If I had a nickel for every time James Caan was in a winter horror movie I’d have 2 nickels. Which isn’t a lot but it’s weird it happened twice.

@CthulhusBFF2 bsides this what other holiday horror film was james Caan in? Unless you're counting Elf, which is in fact a nightmare of a film.

This Chanel’s format feels nostalgic to your older videos, which I love. It really carries that comfort I’d have re watching those videos but keeps it alive in its own way. I enjoy all of the short videos coming out, and I Joel you have a happy holiday!

Thanks so much! I'm glad folks have been saying that about these because they very much are intended to be a back to basics kind of thing for me. I've had a lot of fun making them and am honestly kind of thrilled at the idea of having a lot more shorter projects like this that will keep things fun for me. Thanks again!

When they finish it up I do plan on doing a franchise video on it for sure, I've come around on them a bit since I made that first clown video. I'm still not 100% on board but I do like a lot of stuff they've been doing with them. 2 is by far my favorite with them.

@@IPOSDarksides awesome! yeah i found 1 to be fun but a bit iffy. 2 immediately won me over though, which led me down a path of binging interviews and becoming a super fan. yeah 3 tops it again with the shock, gore and comedy but i love the pacing and all the character moments in 2 more. although i love the story and character stuff we did get in 3, it def feels like it was cut for runtime. hoping for the directors cut that Damien teased in that regard

@IPOSDarksidesАй бұрын
Thanks! I've got several of these scripts for horror novels to be made for here and plan on doing a lot of videos like that. I just don't have a dedicated on camera setup yet for Darksides. Once I do expect a lot more coverage on books and movies that are still in theaters.

I used to hate this movie. Thought it was cheap and witless and a waste of everyone’s time. Watching this video makes me realize that we used to have a higher grade of slop. In the age of the likes of Blood and Honey this feels like a super passionate five star production. Truly I once took the bare minimum for granted. Heck, even at the time I was probably a little too mean. As far as budget horror starring wrestlers go, I’m pretty sure this would have come out around the same time as See No Evil, and…woof.

I'm leaving a comment here about your 'Clearing the air' video because the comment section on that was pretty wild. Good on you man, I've watched for a few years now and you make damn excellent media criticism (or however you'd prefer to frame it). I appreciate this comment is a grain of sand, but from this one guys perspective you came across as your authentic self, and that's the best a person can ever hope to do. It's a shitty situation to want/need to publicly address anything negative about oneself or ones actions, but you did it well. Hats off to you. I hope you keep making damn good videos forever dude.
