Thanks so much for your comments, Jamey, it means a lot. I was proud of the version that came out from Rio Grande, but it had some flaws. I'm grateful for the opportunity from Elf Creek - and particularly Brent, Mike and Paul - to revisit my design and collaborate to make it better. And the production quality...I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. Thanks again!

It takes a lot of humility to revisit a game you thought was complete, Keith--well done with the second edition. I love it!

I played with my 6 year old on the beginner side and with 3 adults on the advanced side. Both games went over great.

We were very surprised with how much we enjoyed this one. I love when games have fleshed out variants to make it more family friendly; it will make this much easier to get to the table and is instantly a holiday staple. Also, I was really impressed with the production quality as well, especially for the low price. The Andrew Bosley art, the graphic design, wooden meeples, coal pieces and even the cardboard tokens that somehow look and feel premium. Just a stellar production all around. Kudos to Keith, Paul, and the ECG team on this one!

I agree 100%! It's a truly charming production. I love the textures on the tokens (and the foil on the ornaments).

From what I've seen/heard, the components and artwork are significantly upgraded and improved over the original version of the game. Also, I believe that the new version fixes a problem with the original version in the assembly area that had limited room for workers and created a bottleneck. I purchased the game at Pax Unplugged.

I want to buy this one too! I don’t know when it will get here in Canada.

I'm not sure either, but they definitely ship to Canada: linktr.ee/elfcreek?mc_cid=3fec7cd36f

I would love to pick this game up, but it is sadly not available in Germany 🙂

You might have said this but getting more assembly tokens is optional. If you don’t want to award points you can take less tokens.
@jameystegmaier7 ай бұрын
Oh yes! We never did that, but I'm glad for the clarification.
