The street all that equipment are going on to the left of the Shell station is a 2 lane street & no room to get over on the shoulder. Up the hill the road leads up and over to the Lafayette BART station and part of downtown Lafayette that goes to the reservoir. The high school ( Acalanes, I think ) is across from the Shell station. The fenced off area across from it used to be a gas station that was there for over 40 years and which everyone went to get their car repaired. The cost of replacing the gas tanks to double wall tanks forced it to close. My girlfriend lived in Lafayette much of her life so we both know the area well.

You should get some content in the Kincade fire! Huge 747 drops retardant and a bunch of Bronco 10s with Huey's and their drop water bucket. California is on fire this year, it's chaotic with the AQI.

This video was recorded on the way back from a two-day visit to Kincade, however I didn't access the Kincade fire scene itself due to safety concerns (My PPE set is not complete, non-4x4 vehicle, not on a paid assignment with a news agency, extreme fire behavior just to name a few). I did however get some footage of Super Scoopers taking water out of Lake Sonoma, as well as strike teams responding from the incident base in Santa Rosa. So that'll be coming soon. Next year however...

I am with tulare county, i just gotta say that them cal fire guys dont rest, they respond all over the county here in tulare, yesterday we had a brush fire they responded with us, then they got realesed to another one, they helped with a structure fire, then today they have been going at it with us county fire, i love them vatos to be honest, they never back down unlike city deparments. Not talking shit but city deparments do ot like doing brush fires 😂🤣😂

Just a idea..People have irrigation systems for their lawn. What if we had high pressure vents that sprayed up in the air to soak vegetation with water from the Pacific ocean?! Sure pricey at first, maybe not feasible. But the idea of saving houses, man hours, insurance claims, cost of firetrucks etc.. could be worth looking into!
