In seventy three I was thirteen just an artist wanting to doing comicbooks, just a singer in my brother in law's band ,he played bass wanting me to take over the mantle my ability to accuired any skill allowed me to manifest a musical quest playing an actual instrument,those late nights laying listening to every body yet had to go to school the next morning,Santana's and many more paid off ,seeing such perfection changed me into some one that god can use,thank you Carlos Santana,

I've met half of the band (!) 🎉 Carlos in Marin at Sweetwater bar when he came to jam with John Lee Hooker. So cool- hey Carlos! Raul Rekow at a place he was playing with other people in Marin also; he was the nicest down to earth guy; shared some laughs. Chris Solberg and David Margen both in Berkeley. I talked to Chris downtown where he was giving guitar lessons. David at a bakery there. Both nice guys too. I met Graham Lear at their 1977-78 New Years Eve show backstage at the Cow Palace in S.F. Honored to have met musicians that have given us all so much joy. 🕉

I didnt know until many years later it was a Buddy Holly composition! Santana is more than a GROUP-more than a guitar player. He is....UNBELIEVABLE! YOU MUST SEE HIM LIVE!
@jesusheals26 жыл бұрын
My first of 20 Santana concerts was March 1st of '79."Inner Secret's" Tour.I did not know at the time it was a cover either or "She's Not There".Greg Walker was singing at my show.When he did "Move On",a feeling went into me I could not explain,but I realized it was due to God.It was The Holy Spirit.Carlos would,and still does pray for Jesus to touch and heal people through his music,through his actual tone rather than words and most of the band pray before every show.A lot of Christian's complain because he is a channeler but so are Christian's and just don't know it.Very few people can discern good from bad angels-the important thing with Carlos he has Love and his heart is in the right place.He gives God Glory every concert and travels the world with a picture of Jesus on his main amp.Not 1 other major guitar player does or ever did that.God Bless Santana!

Man I've been telling everyone that for so many years! So many people love that PRS,it must be easy on the fingers comparatively.The Yamaha sounded so clean and he used to lick his fingers to make them slide easier!

@@jesusheals2 I'm guessing Carlos liked his original PRS because its mid-range projected more like a horn. To me, it's a mushy mess, but each to their own, I guess. His Yamaha is a prototype that is different from the the production version they made in the 70s and 80s.
