Do one for Angus Young! I know people probably rag on him for using pentatonics but his solo playing is pretty unique, especially stuff from late 70s and early 80s

Who else wants to see a Gibson SG Carlos Santana signature model with p90s, a tremolo, and a carved top like the Diablo SG?

You talk about the technical side of Carlos Santana. What you forget about is his sustained notes. He had so many amazing musicians behind him.

1:12 it couldn’t have been a late 60s SG Special with a small pickguard, by the late 60s they were using batwing pickguards.

Appallingly bad. Here, I'll do it for you: "Carlos crafted a tone that was both biting in attack and singing in sustain. He did not play a predictable scale or box form, but spat out phrases in controlled but unpredictable bursts, similar to a percussion instrument. He moved the guitar solo far away from the inherited 60s blues patterns, while still sounding bluesy and funky. Go work on that: it isn't difficult, it just requires that you un-think yourself away from what is expected." You're welcome.

Santana's playing is way overrated. This sounds like garbage.

Still better than infinite speed scales playing a 300 bpm without any sort of musicality.
