If you have never been to Santee State Park, I want to encourage you to make time to visit. My family and I camped out on site 58 on the Lakeshore trail.

Things To Do At Santee State Park
1) Camping:

There are two camp sites. One called cypress view and the other called lakeshore view
2) Fishing At Santee State Park

On this outing at Santee State Park, my son and I went fishing at Lake Marion. While we did not catch anything, fishing at the park is one of the main attractions.
