Little SoCal action! Looks like you hit it the best time! Yeah I hear you on the whole passes and private enterprise... Not sure why we can't just staff up more NF folks and keep the forest roads and trails open instead of erasing more and more from the maps each year. You know what they say?! Fight Tooth and Nail for every inch of Trail!

Isn't that the truth. Every year I see more and sturdier gates. But otherwise the weather was perfect for the views. It had just cleared up from a storm so visibility was amazing.

Nice video, would you say I can use my 2004 2W 4runner to go up the Santiago Peak with a group of jeeps or other 4runers 4x4? 10.14.23?

Maybe. It's pretty loose in that area. Maybe with aggressive tires and a little weight in the back it would be fine. Otherwise if you are with someone, a quick pull with the strap would get you through that short section. Have fun, views are worth it.

Will a 2023 trd off road Tacoma/stock everything with terrain tires, will it be able to make it through and also how do you get down, is it how you enter you exit or another trail. First time gonna be off roading and hitting this trail and tips will help. Do I deflate my tires if so how much psi? How can I find this trail with gps, coordinates?

@@DavidGomez-lz6un yes, my 4runner was stock with the tires from the dealer I went up and down the same way, basically the access road the utility companies use. Perfect trail for your first time!

@@SierraCruiser did you air down your tires?

@@DavidGomez-lz6un I don't believe I did. If you did, it would only be for comfort, but honestly I don't think it would be worth it unless you wanted to try it out. But if this is your first time, do the first half without airing down, then run the second half aired down so you can see the difference.
