Thank. Everything is clear and accessible. What kind of soldering iron?
@JohnsWoodenShips5 жыл бұрын
It's a 40Watt typical soldering iron. Just make sure that you have a big tip not a small one.

Hi John. I am just starting the planking now on mine. How do you sand the canon port holes that have wood behind them? Do you have a tool for it? Thanks.
@JohnsWoodenShips3 жыл бұрын
Hi Byron, I sand them when the hull is complete. To open them up i use a modelers scalpel , i have a video about opening the gun ports using 2 different ways :)
@byronmago3 жыл бұрын
@@JohnsWoodenShips Thanks John. Yes, I am getting the gun ports opened the way you explained. I was just thinking it will be hard to sand them smooth. The open ports are easy, I have a stick with sandpaper I can put through the hole. But much harder on the closed ports.

Hi mate... of which brand is your CA glue?
@JohnsWoodenShips5 жыл бұрын
It says "Power Fix" but I'm pretty sure that's a typical Chinese Cyanoacrylic Glue (the thin one).

The rule is, measure twice, cut once

What glue are you using? Is this the quick dry type?
@JohnsWoodenShips5 жыл бұрын
It's cyanoacrylic thin (red cap).
