@SanuMotorswithCharlie2 ай бұрын
Thanks for the kind words-I really appreciate your support! Your 2019 Vito’s issue with the error codes P204F, P13DF, and 052F sounds like a tricky one, especially with the vehicle standing for three years and potential crystallization in the AdBlue system. If the system is spraying urea and building up pressure but still not clearing the error codes, crystallization in the tank or lines could be a factor. Here are a few things to consider: Check for Residual Crystallization: Even after replacing the pressure line and tank, some crystallized AdBlue might still be present in the system or injectors. Cleaning the injector and running a decrystallization solution might help. Examine the NOx Sensors: A faulty NOx sensor can prevent the system from properly detecting urea injection, which could lead to persistent error codes. Software Update or Reset: Ensure that the vehicle's ECU has the latest software update, and try a hard reset of the AdBlue system using a diagnostic scan tool to clear any stored fault codes. Pressure Sensor Check: Double-check the AdBlue pressure sensor for any irregularities, as an inaccurate reading could cause the system to throw error codes. Since your Vito was in an accident and stood unused, it's also worth inspecting the wiring and connections for corrosion or damage that could affect sensor readings. I hope these tips help, and feel free to share updates or ask for more details! 🚗🔧 #MercedesVito #AdBlueSystem #CarDiagnostics

W213 OM645 getting error code (P208B) adblue What do you think, problem?
@SanuMotorswithCharlie20 күн бұрын
The P208B error code on your Mercedes W213 OM645 indicates an issue with the AdBlue level sensor. This error typically means that the sensor is either malfunctioning or detecting an incorrect AdBlue level. Here’s how to address it: Steps to Diagnose and Fix P208B: Check AdBlue Level: Make sure your AdBlue tank is filled with the correct quality AdBlue fluid. Low or incorrect fluid can trigger this error. Inspect the AdBlue Tank: Look for any leaks, damage, or crystallization around the tank or sensor. Reset the System: Use a diagnostic tool like X-Entry or an advanced OBD-II scanner to reset the AdBlue system after refilling. Ensure no air bubbles are trapped in the system. Test the Sensor: The level sensor in the tank might be faulty. If it’s not reading correctly, you may need to replace it. A diagnostic tool can help confirm if the sensor is defective. Inspect Wiring and Connections: Check the wiring harness and connectors for the AdBlue sensor for any corrosion, damage, or loose connections. AdBlue Injector Check: Ensure the AdBlue injector is functioning properly and isn’t clogged, as it can also trigger related errors. If the Issue Persists: If you’ve gone through these steps and the issue remains, it might require a more detailed diagnosis with a Mercedes specialist or using X-Entry to run advanced system checks. Let me know if you need further guidance or tips! 🚗🔧 #MercedesAdBlue #ErrorCodeP208B #CarDiagnostics

Great video Charlie, just topped up the adblue tank with 10ltr when I got the warning message, the message and the engine management light are still on the dashboard. Mercedes benz glc 220d. Do you advise to follow the same process you showed in this video? Thanks.
@SanuMotorswithCharlie9 ай бұрын
I appreciate the compliment, However, if you're experiencing issues after topping up the AdBlue tank in your Mercedes GLC 220d and the warning message along with the engine management light are still illuminated on the dashboard, it's likely best to follow the process outlined in your vehicle's manual for addressing AdBlue-related issues. Typically, this involves ensuring the correct quantity and proper filling procedure. If the warning persists after correctly refilling, there might be another issue with the AdBlue system that needs attention, and it's advisable to have your vehicle inspected by a qualified mechanic or take it to a Mercedes-Benz service center for diagnosis and repair.

Hi Charlie, nice video! I cleaned the sensor, i deleted code but it still appears. Code P20F5 (and adblue level not reading error), should I remove the NOX sensor and clean it? That will h help?
@SanuMotorswithCharlie9 ай бұрын
It sounds like you're experiencing issues with your Mercedes C-Class related to the NOx sensor and the AdBlue level reading. The NOx sensor plays a crucial role in monitoring emissions, while AdBlue is a fluid used in selective catalytic reduction (SCR) systems to reduce nitrogen oxide emissions. If you've already cleaned the sensor and the error code persists, it's possible that there may be a deeper underlying issue causing the problem. While cleaning the NOx sensor can sometimes resolve issues related to contamination or buildup, if the problem persists after cleaning, it may indicate a malfunctioning sensor or another issue within the SCR system. Before attempting to remove and clean the NOx sensor yourself, I would recommend consulting with a certified Mercedes-Benz technician or a qualified mechanic who is familiar with Mercedes vehicles. They can perform a comprehensive diagnostic check to identify the root cause of the problem and recommend the appropriate course of action. Additionally, the error code related to the AdBlue level reading suggests that there may be a separate issue with the AdBlue system. This could be due to a faulty sensor, a wiring issue, or a problem with the AdBlue tank itself. Again, professional diagnosis is recommended to accurately identify and address the issue. Ignoring these error codes can potentially lead to reduced engine performance, increased emissions, and even engine damage over time. Therefore, it's essential to address these issues promptly to ensure the proper functioning of your Mercedes C-Class and to comply with emissions regulations.

Hello, great video, I have the exact same problem as you had with this mercedes. I have a c200d 1.6 diesel 2016 and did everything you did, cleaned it blocakge and replaced the sensor, but i still have the engine not possible warning light come back on. I am using a topdon art800 obII. I clear the error code and still come back. Has anyone got any solutions as now its starting to give me a headache
@SanuMotorswithCharlie4 ай бұрын
It sounds like you're dealing with a persistent issue with your **Mercedes C200d 1.6 diesel** even after cleaning the blockage and replacing the sensor, but the "engine not possible" warning light continues to appear. Here are a few potential steps and solutions you can try: ### 1. **Check for Additional Error Codes**: Sometimes, the **Topdon ART800 OBDII** might not pick up all the error codes or specific underlying issues. I suggest checking for **stored codes** or **pending codes** that might not show up as active but still cause the warning light to come on. If possible, use a more advanced diagnostic tool like **Mercedes Star Diagnostics (Xentry)** to get deeper insights into the error codes, especially for manufacturer-specific codes. ### 2. **Inspect EGR Valve**: If the blockage you cleaned is related to carbon buildup, it’s possible the **Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) valve** is still not functioning properly. A clogged or malfunctioning EGR valve could trigger the warning light again. Consider inspecting or cleaning the EGR valve thoroughly, or even replacing it if necessary. ### 3. **DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) Issues**: Diesel engines often have problems with the **DPF** becoming clogged, especially if the car isn't driven on long journeys where the system can perform regeneration (self-cleaning). If the DPF is clogged, it will restrict exhaust flow and cause the engine warning light to stay on. Check the DPF for any signs of clogging and try a forced regeneration if possible using the diagnostic tool. ### 4. **MAF Sensor**: Even though you've already replaced a sensor, it’s worth checking the **Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor**. If it’s dirty or faulty, it could still cause incorrect readings and trigger the warning light. Try cleaning or replacing the MAF sensor to see if it resolves the issue. ### 5. **Wiring or Connector Issues**: Sometimes, the issue can be as simple as a loose connection or damaged wiring around the sensors you replaced. Double-check all connectors and wiring in the area to ensure they are properly connected and not damaged. ### 6. **AdBlue System**: If your C200d is equipped with an **AdBlue** system and there’s an issue with the AdBlue levels or its injection system, that can also cause warning lights to stay on. Ensure the AdBlue tank is full and that there are no related error codes with the AdBlue injector. ### 7. **Software Update**: Mercedes-Benz vehicles often have updates available for their engine control units (ECU). Sometimes an outdated software version can cause recurring issues or false error codes. You might want to check if your vehicle has any pending software updates at a Mercedes dealership or trusted specialist. ### 8. **Check DPF and EGR Sensors**: While you've replaced a sensor, there could still be a faulty reading from either the **DPF sensors** (such as pressure or temperature sensors) or the **EGR sensor**. Both of these components are critical in managing emissions and can trigger warning lights if faulty. ### 9. **Seek Professional Assistance**: If none of these solutions work, you may need to visit a Mercedes specialist for a more detailed diagnostic. The specialist will have the correct tools and expertise to pinpoint the exact issue. Keep us updated on your progress-sometimes persistent issues need a multi-pronged approach to resolve!

Hi Charlie The vehicle 2013 ml350 My mechanic did everything u mentioned on the vedeo but still didn’t work .
@SanuMotorswithCharlieАй бұрын
Thanks for reaching out. Sorry to hear the reset didn’t work on your 2013 ML350. If your mechanic followed all the steps and the AdBlue warning is still showing, here are a few additional things to check: Fault Codes: Use a diagnostic tool to scan for any fault codes related to the AdBlue or SCR system (e.g., NOx sensor or injector issues). These codes can give a clearer picture of what might be preventing the reset. AdBlue Quality: Ensure the AdBlue fluid meets ISO 22241 standards. Poor-quality or old AdBlue can trigger the system to remain in error mode. NOx Sensors and Injector: Check if the NOx sensors and AdBlue injector are functioning correctly. A faulty component here can block the reset. ECU Software Update: Sometimes, a software update on the ECU is needed to clear the AdBlue warning. Mercedes dealerships or specialized workshops can handle this. SCR Catalyst Health: Inspect the SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) system to ensure there are no clogs or issues with the catalytic converter. If all else fails, the issue might require a deeper diagnostic at a Mercedes specialist. Let me know how it goes, and feel free to ask if you need more help! 🚗🔧 #MercedesML350 #AdBlueReset #CarTroubleshooting

@SanuMotorswithCharlie16 күн бұрын
Thanks for reaching out. The error codes P13E400 and P13F600 are related to the AdBlue system and specifically indicate issues with the injector (nozzle) and its operation. Let me guide you on the next steps: 1. Reconnecting the Nozzle: Since you started the car without reconnecting the nozzle, the system likely registered this as a fault. Solution: Reconnect the AdBlue nozzle securely and ensure there are no blockages or leaks. 2. Perform a Reset: After reconnecting the nozzle, you’ll need to reset the AdBlue system to clear the fault codes. Use a diagnostic tool compatible with Mercedes (like X-Entry or Autel) to: Reset the AdBlue system. Clear any stored fault codes. 3. Check for AdBlue Flow: Start the car and monitor the live data from the diagnostic tool to see if AdBlue is being injected properly. If no AdBlue is being sprayed, the issue might be: A clogged nozzle or injector. A faulty AdBlue pump. Electrical issues (e.g., wiring or connectors). 4. Inspect the AdBlue Pump: If resetting doesn’t solve the problem, check the AdBlue pump for proper operation. The pump might need repair or replacement if it’s not building sufficient pressure. 5. Further Troubleshooting: Check the AdBlue tank sensors and ensure there’s enough AdBlue in the tank. Verify the quality of the AdBlue fluid-it must meet ISO 22241 standards. Let me know how it goes or if you need more guidance-I’m here to help! 🚗🔧 #MercedesAdBlue #ErrorCodeFix #CarMaintenance

@SanuMotorswithCharlie10 ай бұрын
It sounds like you're experiencing an issue with the AdBlue system in your vehicle. AdBlue is a solution used in diesel engines to reduce emissions of nitrogen oxides. If your dashboard is indicating that the AdBlue level cannot be read or is low, there could be a few reasons for this: Sensor Issue: The AdBlue level sensor might be faulty or dirty, preventing it from accurately reading the level of AdBlue in the tank. This could be due to a buildup of dirt or deposits on the sensor. Fluid Quality: Ensure that the AdBlue fluid you added meets the required standards. Using low-quality or contaminated AdBlue can cause issues with the system. System Malfunction: There could be a malfunction in the AdBlue system itself, such as a problem with the pump, injector, or control unit. Electrical Issue: There might be an electrical problem causing the dashboard to display incorrect information or preventing the sensor from functioning properly. In any case, it's essential to address this issue promptly to prevent any potential damage to your vehicle or violations of emissions regulations. I recommend consulting your vehicle's manual for guidance on troubleshooting AdBlue-related issues, or contacting a qualified mechanic or dealership for assistance. They can diagnose the problem accurately and take the necessary steps to resolve it

Does it reset the adblue sign on the desk board. Mine got new adblue tank, adblue topped up but the sign comes up saying adblue error refer to book.
@SanuMotorswithCharlie4 ай бұрын
When you see an AdBlue error message on the dashboard, especially after replacing the AdBlue tank and topping it up, it usually indicates that the system needs to be reset or that there’s an issue with the AdBlue system sensors. Here are some steps to resolve the AdBlue error: 1. **Check for Fault Codes**: Use an OBD-II scanner to read any fault codes related to the AdBlue system. This will help identify if there’s a specific sensor or component causing the error. 2. **Reset the AdBlue System**: Sometimes, the system doesn’t automatically reset even after refilling. Depending on the vehicle, a manual reset through the car's menu or dashboard might be needed. Some cars require special procedures like turning the ignition on and off in a sequence. 3. **Software Update or Adaptation Reset**: In some cases, the vehicle’s control unit needs a software update or an adaptation reset. This is usually done through a diagnostic tool used by mechanics, such as VCDS for VW group vehicles or similar software for other brands. 4. **Check Sensors and Wiring**: If the error persists, there might be an issue with the AdBlue sensors, such as the level sensor, quality sensor, or NOx sensor. Inspect these sensors and the wiring for any visible damage or loose connections. 5. **Perform a Test Drive**: Sometimes, driving the vehicle for a few miles can help the system recognize the updated AdBlue level and clear the error. 6. **Consult the Vehicle’s Manual or Professional Assistance**: If the error continues, it might be best to refer to the vehicle’s manual for specific instructions or seek professional assistance from a mechanic who has the proper diagnostic equipment to reset the system. If you’re still seeing the AdBlue error after trying these steps, it might indicate a deeper issue with the AdBlue system that requires professional diagnostics and repair.

Is it illegal to delete adblue and drive on roads ,?
@SanuMotorswithCharlie8 ай бұрын
Yes, it is illegal to delete or disable the AdBlue system in vehicles and then drive them on public roads in many countries, including the United States and those in the European Union. The AdBlue system is an essential part of a vehicle's emissions control system, which helps to reduce harmful nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions. Disabling or deleting this system is considered tampering with the vehicle's emissions controls, which is prohibited by environmental regulations. In the United States, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) enforces regulations under the Clean Air Act, which make it illegal to tamper with or disable any part of a vehicle's emissions control system. This includes the AdBlue system. Similarly, in the European Union, tampering with emissions control systems is prohibited under EU regulations. Violations of these regulations can result in significant fines and penalties for individuals and businesses, including vehicle repair shops that perform such modifications. Additionally, vehicles that have had their emissions control systems tampered with may fail emissions tests and may not be legally allowed to be driven on public roads. Therefore, it is important to keep the AdBlue system and other emissions control systems in proper working order to comply with the law and to contribute to reducing environmental pollution.

@@SanuMotorswithCharlie thanks . Then how and why do you delete Adblue on cars ? Like in the video
@SanuMotorswithCharlie7 ай бұрын
I never delete DPF or AdBlue. It's illegal. Please see the video again. I'm talking about repair, not delete. Sorry for the misunderstanding. Thank You for the comment

Witch sensor?
@mickdavid86673 ай бұрын
thanks, with hind site, i think you could just clean the crystals
@SanuMotorswithCharlie3 ай бұрын
You're absolutely right! In hindsight, simply cleaning the AdBlue crystals can often resolve the warning issue without needing to go through the full reset process or using diagnostic tools. Crystallization around the AdBlue cap or injector is a common cause of false warnings, and a good clean with warm water can restore normal sensor operation. By addressing the crystal buildup early, you can potentially save time and avoid unnecessary troubleshooting steps. It's great advice to keep in mind for anyone dealing with similar AdBlue system warnings! Let me know if you need help with anything else!

I have a p1521-00
@SanuMotorswithCharlie11 күн бұрын
The P1521-00 error code on a Mercedes-Benz typically relates to a throttle actuator control system issue rather than the AdBlue system. However, if you're seeing it in conjunction with AdBlue-related warnings, it could point to a more general issue with engine management that needs attention. Here’s how to address P1521-00: 1. What the Code Means: P1521-00: Indicates an issue with the Throttle Actuator Control (TAC) system, which controls the throttle opening and air intake into the engine. 2. Possible Causes: Dirty Throttle Body: Carbon buildup in the throttle body can restrict its movement. Faulty Throttle Position Sensor (TPS): The sensor may be providing incorrect feedback to the ECU. Wiring or Connector Issues: Loose, corroded, or damaged connections between the throttle actuator and ECU. Software Glitch: Outdated or corrupted engine control module (ECU) software. AdBlue or DPF-Related Issue: A related issue in the emissions system could indirectly cause throttle irregularities. 3. How to Fix It: Inspect and Clean: Remove the throttle body and clean it with a throttle body cleaner to remove carbon buildup. Check Wiring and Connectors: Inspect all connections related to the throttle actuator for corrosion, damage, or loose connections. Reset the Code: Use a diagnostic tool like X-Entry or a high-quality OBD-II scanner to clear the code after addressing the issue. Update Software: Ensure the ECU software is up to date; check with a Mercedes dealer or a qualified mechanic for updates. Test the System: Run live data diagnostics to check throttle response, sensor outputs, and overall system performance. When to Seek Help: If the problem persists after these steps, it’s best to consult a Mercedes-Benz specialist or dealership for further diagnostics. They can use specific tools to pinpoint the issue more precisely. Let me know if you need further assistance! 🚗🔧 #MercedesBenz #ThrottleActuator #P1521Error

Hello took my car to MB assessment and after an hour the came out with two following codes: U05A308 Communication with hte component A' 103 (AdBlue® pump module) has amalfunction. There is a signal fault or the message is faulty. U05A387 Communication with the component A103 (AdBlue® pump module) has amalfunction. They now want another 1 hr of 100£ to check if its wiring fault rather then adbluetank and refuse to proceed without an hour check!! Any ideas suggestions?

sorry looks like to me the Adblue tank is faulty, but not sure 100% untill check propaley.
@bimiuk405111 ай бұрын
@@SanuMotorswithCharlie may i ask when they say adblur tank, but error code says “pump module” - can the module on its own not be replaced or the pump? Just dont get how a tank / reservoir can go bad. Also they said : tank comes with module and pump and cannot be repaired separately but can find adblue module online.
