Here we go step by step to look at the most crucial settings in setting up your Sanwa MT5/44, M12, M17 same things apply. Tested back to back this radio with the old M12 and i have to say when you find the nearest recycle centre throw it there ! Big difference ! I tested the m12 without touching the settings of the radio contrary to my MT 44 in which i also had the Exp -% in both throttle and steering ! If you test m17 locally, inform us about the differences !

The R-Mode/Racing Mode doesn't enable any extra options. It just allows you to create 2 different settings for the same car and switch between them with a button press. I'm not 100% sure of how it works on the Sanwa, but I think if you leave everything OFF then you aren't even enabling it at all. If you set it to ON, then that value will be linked to which race mode you are in R1 or R2.
