Rugby in Australia will eventually end up like rugby in the pacific islands. The best players will get scouted for European clubs and the second rate players will have to work a job on the side just to play. Semi-professional code imminent unless they can bring some spark back to the game.

@@jormundgandr88 Poor crowd sizes (and it gets progressively less each year), Financial woes with the ARU, stagnant player salaries, the unsustainability of Australian rugby logistics (big country, lack of public interest, large squads to fly around and accommodate), the powerful lure of Japanese/ European money contracts and life experience living abroad, the contract/ financial division between the ARU and the NZRU, the decline of pacific rugby quality, rampant player drain in the region, inaccessibility for new fans to discover the sport because it's behind a paywall, the dominance of alternative sports like NRL and AFL within Australia, the lack of youth development within the sport, the lack of quality media entertainment promoting the sport/ players, the mismanagement by ARU staff (things reflect poorly with the fanbase, like the Folau incident and the Di Patston drama... hiring people who have never played the game (Bill Pulver, Raelene Castle) to run the ARU 😬). The dismal national teams performance and the cut throat toxic atmosphere within the wallabies camp, lack of existing player depth, revolving door in regards to head coaches and assistant coaches. The ARU decided to fast track Eddie Jones into the setup and cut out Dan Mckellar and Laurie fisher also means we're leaking coaching talent as well. the list goes on
