From another all black fan, awesome to see the traditional spring bok reignited, world rugbys fiercest rivalry is back with a vengeance! Hope Pretoria is a sell out and that the all blacks can remind you on your turf when revenge is sort! That's the spring boks we kiwis love to see n respect. Congratulations and may Pretoria be a game for the ages and get south African rugby back on track and where it belongs. Oh also give them wallabies a bloody lesson too, and do it spring bok style!

As a Springbok supporter, I love this game for two reasons. The rivalry between SA and NZ is just on another level. What a game of rugby. 2. All Black commentary has to be the best in the world. They truly appreciate the game of Rugby as they talk about the 'quality' of one SA's tries. Razor is in charge now, so I'm expecting it to be an even greater task for the Boks to beat the ABs going forward. I'm getting Hansen-dominating vibes from this guy. Best of luck for 2027 cycles my All Blacks brothers. If we don't win, I hope you guys do.

Can't wait for the entire missing sqaud to come back. Galant, Willemse, Combrink, Frans Steyn, Bismark, Serfontein, Jaco Kriel, Marcell Cotzee, Johan Janse van Rensburg, Jean Luc duPreez, Vermeulen etc. The Springboks are eyeing for the RWC 2019. That's the plan. All hell will break loose on the All Blacks come RWC 2019. Good defensive structure for the most part. Not committing at the ruck and defending the touchline and the pop pass. The basics were perfect. Forwards were massive. Ardie a machine. Ben Smith a machine. Beauden had a pair of Reeboks on. Couldn't really notice the Kiwi scrumhalf, forgot his name. Ref and assistant ref had a shocker. Edge of seat rugby. Very happy rugby fan.

Three points I must make , 1 ; Congratulations Springbok , you are back in the realm , 2; Would it have made a difference if the "home ground " goal kicker had not missed 5 out of 7 goal kicks , and 3 ; the AB`s certainly have some homework to do regarding busting through a defence line !! Certainly a great game to watch.

Great game and well done Spring Boks. Nice to see just how much that win meant to those guys with tears of battle in their eyes after the game. I'm a Kiwi and I thought the ABs were a bit impatient early on, maybe even a bit arrogant. Barrett as brilliant as he is, his goal kicking is a concern. Take nothing away from the Boks, they won that game with the most bloody minded defensive effort of the last decade and they were the best team on the day. Loftus is going to be absolutely brutal. Great comments on this video too, just scrolled down and hardly any negatives for a change is amazing for KZbin:)

Congratulations SA, a magnificent effort and probably one of the best defensive efforts i have seen in my life. Disappointing that the AB's did not use their heads in the last 5 mins, for me that was sheer arrogance, they decided that they could score a try instead of taking the Drop kick. What a fantastic game to watch and witness with a magnificent win by the Springboks. They took their chances and ran with confidence and through the kitchen sink at everything scoring some great tries. These are the types of contests both countries are used to. Congratulations to South Africa even though there was some luck involved good on them for being alert and coming back to the world stage with gusto. Great to see you smiling Gareth, keep those comments coming.

As an AB supporter who was at the game, it was a GREAT game to watch. The ABs let themselves down with some subpar play, but not going to take away from the monster of a game SA played - the work rate and number of tackles....insane! Last 5 minutes of the game, everyone was on the edge of their seats. Absolutely crazy stuff!
@pj91005 жыл бұрын
Ok, my main talking points. - South Africa well deserved win. Though their 2nd half performance to me undermined how deserving they are of the win the way they played the rest of the game out. I wanted them to lose as lesson learned on how not to beat New Zealand but props to them, they succeeded where Ireland 2013 failed. I thought NZ deserved to win it less due to their 1st half shocker, only getting back into the game via SA making a mountain out of a molehill. - Yes, NZ team as a whole at fault for the loss, defence in comparison far inferior and crucial mistakes were made but one thing Carter will always have over Barret is kicking between those sticks. Carters ability to get 3 points when needed would’ve saved NZ here at extra time though they wouldn’t be in that position in the first place as he would’ve converted them tries. Barret with the monster game couple weeks back but his Achilles heel shone bright today, wildly inconsistent with kicking which in essence lost us the game. - Those who still think NZ dominance in international rugby is unhealthy for the game should by now realise they bring the best out of any team they face. This game and many games prior prove this. You’re essentially saying that you’re content with games like last week’s Aus v SA as a clash of the highest level. - Sick game

They should have opted for the drop goal in the dying minutes of the game. Are drop goals illegal in NZ? Cause they played like it was.

They shouldnve lost by more. Worst refereeing ive seen from Nigel ever. Very bad calls mostly against the boks.
@pj91005 жыл бұрын
zephanish Exactly what I meant with Carter. Back in the days, he'd have tremendous drop goals which proved key factors in some games (think WC 2015). If he was in this game in such situation, I'd imagine he'd be demanding a ball back for a drop kick. In fact, I'm pretty sure since he retired, NZ has not scored 3 points via drop goal kick ever (I don't remember any, maybe Cruden did?). Didn't need to though really lol...

Congrats on SA for winning this game. They played bloody hard and bloody good. I don't mean to take anything away from them but they didn't really win this game. We just lost it. Jordie throwing that quick throw intercept, plus the other intercept, plus Beaudy missing as close as he did. Multiple times. We literally threw the game away.

No Retallick = Beatable All blacks. Hence this game, Australia last year and Ireland 2016. I wouldn't mind if Retallick stays out for the rest of the championship, just so we can have competitive games.

Surely can't pin this on one missing player? Also no Dane Coles, Joe Moody and SBW. Springboks without Jean Luc du Preez, Sbu Nkosi, Duane Vermeulen, maybe add Jaco Kriel who is still injured and may have gotten a chance.

How many players do we have "missing" every week? Between politics and overseas money we've got arguably half or more of our true first team elsewhere or had-to-retire on a permanent basis.
