I unsuccessfully auditioned for that film 'The Outrun but it was an amazing experience and Saoirse came to watch our amateur play and I got to meet her. She was so lovely. Every time I watch one of her interviews, I get even more heartbroken that I never got the part. Give me another part Saoirse, I'll do anything. 😂

I am Irish and I can confirm that people say it differently. Some pronounce it seer-sha and some pronounce it sur-sha or ser-sha
