Thank you for sharing the valuable information😇 In my case I'm facing the problem while adding hana system as a multiple container. Even I checked about the ports, those also are enabled and test connection is true. I'm getting msg like, "The system cannot be reached. The logon data could not be used. Do you want to add the system anyway? " Kindly guide me for this.

At about 13th minutes, are we seeing a local system or a remote system? If local system a pc (windows), linux or mac? Are these tools free or paid? TIA.

Yes, all the demos and exercises in this particular video series were performed locally on laptop using HANA Express (free edition). www.sap.com/products/hana/express-trial.html HANA Express supports Linux as the OS but you can run on a Mac or PC using various container technologies. At the time of this recording, I was using VMWare. Now I run it in Windows Subsystem for Linux. Although not used in this video there are other, newer videos that also use HANA Cloud on the SAP BTP free tier. This has the advantage of not needing hardware to install the free instance locally. Both are viable options for learning HANA development. [Thomas Jung]

These videos were originally on my personal channel but we moved them to the official SAP channel. But the official channel has additional rules about brand images and sometimes the clothing I was wearing contained such other brand images. It made more sense to just blur the video rather than re-record the entire series for just that issue. [Thomas Jung]

@@sapdevs That's crazy! Seems very unfair to (mostly) remove the face of the host and creator just because we would be able to see some very common brands that we already buy from anyway.
