Strategy type 11 is for gross requirements planning which will not consider plant stock for net requirement calculations. Pls see if you had proper demands in MD04 and the mixed MRP indicator is checked.

Let’s say the planner wants to freeze the MRP proposals in a specific time period and he doesn’t want MRP to disturb the proposal within the time frame..in such scenarios the planning time fence helps to firm the proposals so that the planning data in the planned order cannot be changed during the MRP run.

Hi IK, Thanks for the explanation. I have one query, Why system generate Pln order next to the PTF. I'm also tried for the same scenario, System generate pln order after PTF only even through demand fall under PTF. Could you please explain?

Pls check the available stock, lead times and requirement date of the PIR. For PIR in case of material shortage, MRP generates proposals for the first day of the PIR month.
