Thank you so much for the MRPV related information, I was stuck while during MIGO as my current period was set somewhere in 2020 and I couldn't move it to 2023 all at once, I was not aware that MRPV can close period one by one. Learning S/4HANA MM on my own so such videos are extremely helpful!

MM can only have 2 periods open, and FI can have any periods open, you must check both of them

Then you didn't follow the steps correctly. happens to me too sometimes :) The most common reason is you didn't display one record before starting the debugger. I mean you have to go to SE11, display the records, then double click on the record you want to change to display it alone, then start the debugger and hit enter. If you start the debugger in the table display screen with many records displayed you won't find the variable. Summary: follow the video exactly :)

He could have keyed it in or used ctrl+Y, ctrl+C to copy across multiple fields. In his case he had at least one example of a CoCd that had been properly maintained. It’s probably OK if you just transpose the date fields from their existing month/year to the desired month/year. You will have to do a little date math. Just get a screenshot before you change anything, so you can restore if you make a mistake. Not that I’VE ever done that. 😳
